Hi yr amazing. Question I hope u answer me. After I use jam on my daughter's hair it get sleek. But the product dries back . Its still neat but not sleek why is that. And what do u recommend?? Love yr classes

The idea of the jam is to help with the install by laying the hair down it’s not meant to stay. As with most products it will evaporate or be absorbed by the hair. You definitely don’t want keep applying it because it will cause build up, but you can use it for the edges to maintain neatness in the front. I hope this answered your question 🙏🏽

Hii ❤️❤️ so i really LOVE the way box braids look on you guys and i really want to do them to myself.. but im white and my hair is straight.. now does box braids work for my hair? I really hope so. But also is it ’disrespectful’ to the black community if i di them? Thanks ❤️

ANYONE can do box braids. Keep in mind that because your hair texture would be very straight, you may have trouble securing the braids in your head longer than 3-4 weeks. Coarser hair textures use these methods mainly for protective styling which means they'll be able to hold onto black hair for a month, if not more. The methods and products used for it going on your head will be different so be mindful of you hair and scalp health. All in all, you won't be disrespecting the black community by wearing braids. It's only when culture appropriation comes into play that we'll get riled up. Do you boo. Good luck! 💖💋

I think this one I got from Amazon, but it wasn’t the best. The product would eventually seep through after extended used. I have since switched to ace bandages which work much better, I also get off Amazon.
