I am from America and thru the years DJ's have played many Australians artists and groups, so I do not understand why she has never had any of her songs played here in the USA. Vanessa can blow away just about ant singer out there. I am so glad I found out about her and she is my absolute favorite.

Absolutely!! To be totally honest I don't or didn't like her earlier days but what she has been putting out in 2019 is awesome. Her voice is getting better with age (I don't mean to be disrespectful) She deserves more recognition than she gets. She lives in America so I thought she'd broken through over there. She writes a lot for others too. Let's hope her latest music starts getting heard there 🙏👍🎤🎵

She can do riffs/runs, switch head voice to chest, very wide and high range that can equal to the calibre of Aretha Franklin... almost perfect pitch. I don't understand why she's so underrated... I really don't.

Tried to comment on another TODAY clip with Vanessa where the presenter mispronounces her surname as Amo-ROSSI. It's Amo-ROSY! As a matter of fact other TV presenters mispronounce it the same way. Get it right people - not ROSSI but Amo-ROSY. Kochie here got it right. Show some respect and get it right.

What are you talking about? It's not lipsynced in the slightest. She's flat several times--absolutely normal in live performance--and her timbre is slightly different here than the recording. A key difference is how often you can hear her breathe here. Most lipped performances are void of the breath you'd expect to hear.

@@iwokeuplikethispod I love Vanessa..but... for a start.. there is not one microphone on the drums... there are keyboard parts playing that the keyboard player doesn't even bother to emulate....can you point me to where you think she is 'flat'? ... because the pitch of every note is actually perfect to the tempered scale..too bloody perfect... she never once is flat... I would wager her vocal has been 'pitch corrected' through one of those garbage plugins all the producers use.....she used to sing 'blue notes' and bends all the time when she was a rock goddess... there is not one bend in this song... every note is pitch perfect ... they washed all the soul out of her... we miss the old Vanessa ..... ..
