Thank you for discovering Aussie female singers , Vanessa sang a song for the opening ceremony of our 2000 Olympic games which will knock your socks off , other ladies from our musically blessed country are TINA ARENA (the equivalent of farnsey) Delta Goodram , Rene Geyer, Kate Soprano, Chrissie Amphlet , Marcia Hines (who is an ex pat American), Olivia Newton John , Mahalia Barnes , Casy Chambers , just to highlight my personal favourites , but there are so many more and if you get to react to any of them you'll be rewarded with an abundance of good quality listening pleasure .

Yeh we saw her at the club ,it was called an interment night with vanessa ,she is just so good and just so friendly ,loved it her voice is still so amazing ,it was a treat .

Vanessa was discovered by the producer of Red Faces from Hey Hey it’s Saturday,Jack Strom while she was singing in a Russian restaurant when she was about 16. We didn’t see talent like her on Red Faces, Red still would have given her a 2 😂

Thank you for reacting to her!!! 💐 I know this song possibly isn’t in a genre that would normally grab you but I’m glad you were able to compare her talent to a GOAT like Aretha’s. The only person apart from Vanessa that I’ve heard be able to do Aretha justice was Celine Dion. I feel like Vanessa is in this category of great ability too. Vanessa is amazing I’ve loved her since she released her first song, her voice is just so good. Another Australian female singer is Kate Ceberano. She is singing with Johnny Farnham and another awesome Aussie singer Jon Stevens. The 3 of them were the leads in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar back in the 90’s.
