I appreciate the fact that you are actually playing your boards. Most of the videos, that I am seeing here on YT, are of these guys who are just tweaking the knobs without doing anything more then playing a note here and there. So, its good to see someone who actually has some talent. Lenny K.

I’ll have you know that tweaking knobs is more difficult than it seems! And good ol Vangelis himself does a fair bit of knob tweaking in the original version of this song as well. Also, heheh... tweaking... knobs.... heheheh.

Each time I watch your channel, I realise that your ability to capture the big V's atmosphere and universe is currently unsurpassed in the whole YT world. Please don't comment on your bum notes, nobody's perfect, and this is the price to pay for improvisation. Thank you again, Mike.

Absolutely amazing!!! Bravo!! I know, it's not exactly Vangelis piece, but the character of it is right there, and it is your inspiration that speaks to us - the listeners. Love the ESQ1 fluty sound. Right on the money. Juno G (EP) sound is almost right there where it should be. And Moog LP is just what the doctor ordered. Like that sweeping sound motion. Very characteristic of most Vangelis sounds. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Totally awesome experience!

Almost indistinguishable from the original Vangelis patches. Wonder is how a relatively affordable Behringer Cathedral reverb can add such lush tails to your sounds, as the famous but insanely expensive Lexicon verb worked for The Man Himself.. really awsome job Mick, keep 'em coming dear friend!

@adrianh63 Also funny how he uses a completely different method to create the cs-80 brass sound on the LP. He uses hard sync to keep the VCO's dead on, and found a sweet spot that works just for that synth to make that replica sound. It's in one of his other vids. On the CS-80, that sound was just made with two sawtooth vco and slight detuning and some clever envelopes.
