When i watch the scene in which Mimi realizes she's alone in the plane while Oscar watches from the Terminal, with this beautiful piece playing in the background, I feel as if someone has reached into my body and squeezed every last inch of my heart......it is as if I have glimpsed heaven and the farthest reaches of hell at the same time. I would recommend this brilliant movie for that scene alone.....

'Bitter Moon' is one of my favorite films ever... and this music by Vangelis, pierces my heart with an inexplicable pain... that elevates me off the ground and makes me feel like I'm floating in space. But because I'm such a hopeless perfectionist I find two things wrong with the video - 3:06 through 3:20 and the 'OCEAN FOOTAGE' text. If it weren't for these two things it would be sublime perfection.

I loved this movie and was impressed by it and its music that pulls you into the worlds of the movie and makes you feel the feelings of the hero. I do not know why I felt that the movie considers the West to be represented by moral corruption, vice and perversion, and the East is represented by morals and virtue, as the West is represented by the couple and the East by the Indian man and the father of the little girl, especially in the closing scene when He stood far from them after learning of their moral degradation... Then she wept in her husband's lap, the cry of someone who wants to wash his soul of filth..

The first 2:00 belong to the OST of the movie Bitter Moon. The piece from there to 2:45 I don't remember earing in the movie, it could be some improvisation that didn't cut into the final version of the OST, although it has some of the elements from the end titles, which starts precisely after that, at about 2:50. This last piece is like saying goodbye, not through words, but through music. Pure nostalgia! When you title this video as «Suite From Bitter Moon» does this mean there's actually a piece with this name? Was it ever released on CD (or streaming format)? The "opening title" was released on the 1999 album titled «Reprise: 1990 - 1999», a collection of previously released themes from albums such as «1492: Conquest of Paradise», «Oceanic» and «Voices»; but the "end title" I'm not aware that it has ever been released, as well as the "love theme" (my call) from the same Bitter Moon movie.
