Great to see some lovely weather back in Belfast. It’s been too long since I’ve been there ❤️ Nice review of a great looking tent!

Thanks Dan!! Yes indeed, hasn't been much nice weather over the past year, so got to enjoy it when it is there 😂 Are you from Belfast, or did you visit ??

Nice video .ive yet to get out in my krypton. Ive already made a few modifications to it on my first set up in the garden . Extended the guylines on the center /ends and colour coded it , so i dont get the fly the wrong way round .added an internal washing line . Mods to do . Make small ground sheets for the porches Make a paracord line so i can set it up fly first if needed . Make 2 guylines for the trekking pole ends

Thanks so much for your comment, very useful. Yes, extending the guylines is a good idea, and colour coding the fly is definitely something I noticed...and you have answered my own question about whether it does have to go on a certain way. When you say paracord line...is that to keep tension in the outer tent, to allow the inner to be set up after under it? Have you tried that? Would be intrigued to see how that looks in practice. Thanks again for your message 🤓

I really like Vango, they are built really well, (not the cheap festival range of tents obviously) and they are British, but this isnt their best looking tent. Its fat and lumpy and not quite symetrical so looks odd. I really want to understand who the blazes at vango said; ye thats a good looking tent, put that into production and charge more than our competitors, hopefully not your mate Ken, but hey, I only design buildings, what do I know. The clips are good, and they need to be when a strong wind hits that big ass.

Yes, not the most attractive, but it looks a lot like other tents out there, like the Big Agnes Copper Spur, so it isn't just Vango making ugly tents 😂 either way, it has a lot of pros...like, space, weight, quality of material and manufacture, and if it functions well, I will be very happy with it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😂

I'm not sure I buy tents based on there good looks .more on the features, quality ,weight space, colour, materials .reputation, availability ,strength basically everything other than its looks .😂

Total summer tent far too much mesh
@SaunterOn7 ай бұрын
I hear what you are saying, but I would happily use this in the Winter, just depends what temperature we are talking about...but I have slept in -3°C in a tarp, and -5°C in a Goretex Bivvy. I just prefer less, or no condensation, so the mesh ain't a problem for me.
