Hi both. Good review of the awning. Seems ok and a competitive price. Nice to see some summery weather and hear lawns being cut. Not long now hopefully. What an amazing rain storm - that looked wicked! Nice relaxed style to your videos and sure subscriber increase is not too far away. Absolutely love Mollie. We are a Border Collie family even though our own dog (Sally) is the most beautiful Labrador. Daughters have both got a Collie and we had one for 17 years. Take care both from Mal, Dave and Sally from Stoke

Thank you so much 🥰 We are still finding our feet so your comments and feedback really mean a lot - Labradors are gorgeous too, Mollie has 2 best friends we meet on our walks who are both labs and she goes crazy when she sees them 😂 Hopefully we can bring you some travel videos very soon too 😁👍

Great review. I have already got enough money for the awning, ... now to start saving for my van. Your videos are really easy (and entertaining) to watch. Please keep 'em coming.

I bought this awning for our folding camper a couple of years back. Took me about half an hour...and a headache cos i couldn't get it straight lol Love the clamp idea for the excess fabric. Ours stood up to wind and torrential downpours in Cork . Have just pulled it out to practice perfecting putting it up in the garden before I attempt a campsite with an audience again lol

Ah yes we had similar experiences trying to get it lined up straight the last time we used it - out of practice so a great idea to try at home before you go away 👍 It does stand up well to bad weather, we found similar - thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 🥰

Thanks for making this video, it helped me make my decision to buy this particular awning a few minutes ago. I live in my van mon-fri and could do with a little outdoor space if the weather isn't great! Also, the van isn't really big enough for me, my wife and daughter to stay in for any length of time, so it will be great for family holidays. Small enough to store but big enough to sleep in if need be!

Glad you found it useful, it's a great awning for the money and ours is still going strong 🥰👍

Great review. I've just received mine this morning. I know you've had it a while now. But Atwools do excellent pitching & packing videos. Just watched it for ideas. The video is in real time. 7.49 minutes Think that includes packing. But only watched till erected. I don't expect to get it up anyway near that time or yours. I'm 78 I haven't got rail on my van Renault trafic lwb. I'm using 100lbs magnets from amazon. You could use them for taking the slack out

Great idea with the magnets, thank you didn't think of that! 🥰👍 hope you like it we don't use ours as much as we thought but mostly because we like to move every couple of days. We hope to keep travelling like you, thank you for taking the time to comment 🥰

I bought this awning earlier this Yr. Because of value for money and weight. As you mentioned I'm on my own(wife passed 2yrs ago) So weight was important I'm 78 I have Renault trafic 2019 lwb But I found it difficult to thread the poles through the fabric on my own. Kept snagging. Sp I came up with this thought. Ive cut the bungie courd to separate the 2 sides from the top. So all I have to thread through now is the 4 pieces that make up the top If you do it. Make sure you keep all of pokes in same order. As they're not all same size. And some them are male both ends. Which I didn't realise. As I didn't put the bungie cord through as I didn't think it needed it now. But it does, just keeping them in correct order. I bought some new cord from ebay 3mm. Ive emailed Vango what I've done. As I think it's a much easier system. Instead of having to thread the whole lot through in the bent pieces. I've left them all loose.

Having had caravans for 12 years and still have the 4th awning to sell, our motto is buy cheap, buy twice. Now we have a campervan we want to get away from putting an awning up, too much faff and it’s a pain putting them away if it’s wet. However the extra space is very useful, we have bikes and like to keep them out of sight, so may go for an awning, more money and more hassle.

Know exactly what you mean, we have made a rule anything 2 nights or less no awning, 3 nights or more we consider taking but we've only used it a couple of times in the past year did the reasons you said. It handy though if any family come as they can sleep in it 🥰👍
