Cambridge is lovely we went on the river in a less expensive punt with six other people. A punt for two was a crazy price. It was my wifes birthday too . A boozy birthday sounds so out of character haha 😂😅

If you have had your Gas and Electric appliances check or serviced you should have a Certificate issued by a Gas Safe registered engineer certified with his registration number,a electrical engineer will issued a electrical safety certificate with his registration number... I didn't see any Gas Safe of NIEE numbers on your check sheet .

If you visit berwick again there is a micro brewery 200 years from your campsite on the back road to the beach. They have a little bar open some nights.

I need one for insurance purposes and what gets me is the fact that you, invariably, pay 5 times the price of an MOT and the tester will give you the checklist and if it fails they say absolutely nothing about where you go from there. In an ideal world they'd give you an idea of the cost of repair and an idea of whether they then give you a pass certificate. How does a layman know how to check the qualifications of a person claiming to be qualified. Would we recognise a valid certificate? I just spoke to the NCC training academy and they can't (because of data protection) tell me if the person who did my habitation check (who claims they trained him) is trained by them. It's laughable.

Love Grassington, even though we got stuck there in our van and cost £110 to get towed out 🙂 Been back since ( in better weather) and it really is alovely place , all the best Trev Debz and Tyler x x

That site was one of our favourites as so many walks from there. If you go out the back gate (to dog walk) and bear right you can walk up to the disused quarry then back down the lane to Skirethorns Lane then left back to main road. One of the bungalows on that lane used to have a model railway set up in the front garden - not sure if it's still there. The pub on the static site ( Poachers I think) is good and you can walk through the statics to get to it as there a gate before you get as far as the duck pond. We stayed there when the Tour de France went through. Carried our chairs, picnic and (of course) the umbrellas doen to the main road and sat there 2 hours waiting for the pelaton- flashed past in a minute 😂

Hi guys just catching up on your videos. Not sure if you have had it recommended already, but Rivington brewery (Rivington near Bolton) also has a camp site. Good craft beer and food and you can walk up ‘Rivvy Pike’ from the site. Highly recommend it to people who like craft beer.

Molly is such a pretty girl. We were just up the road from you that weekend, by 8 miles. We holiday in Starbotton every year. The weather was awful all BH week, worst weather in the 15 years we’ve holidayed there. The walk from Grassinton to Hebden Bridge is lovely ( though have to cross stepping stones) and there’s a lovely tea room in the old school house. You should have tried the summer double decker bus that runs from York to Hawes on the Sunday & BH Monday - picks up on the main road in front of the site. We went on the BH Monday, only £2 and the view you get from the top of the bus is spectacular, first time we’ve gone by bus to the Wensleydale creamery in Hawes. It was quite an experience on those tight roads with steep inclines and tight stone bridges with oncoming traffic. Our son discovered the butchers in the spar this year and came back with a variety of pork pies and said they were the best he had ever tasted. Another great vlog, thank you.

Great Video as usual - I watch your channel to work out how I can improve ours! Obviously great minds think alike - we went to Wharfdale a few weeks before you and have just been to Berwick Upon Tweed and then Edinburgh!

Another great volg and another place to add to the list, pity the rain curtailed your activities a little, we were in Buxton that weekend and hardly saw a drop, it was very windy though which stopped the drone going up which is a pity as the Buxton CAMC site is in an old quarry so would have been great. Glad you enjoyed your trip to Skipton its a lovely town and well worth a stay for 2/3 nights, just enough time to get round all the great real ale pubs and bars🍺 Not sure if Iain's tried it but Timothy Taylors bolt maker is an excellent ale & well worth trying should you happen across it. Look forward to the next one 👍

We stayed near Harrogate that weekend it was very wet but hey still enjoyed it and yes dogs where very welcome everywhere which is great . Grassington and Skipton definitely on my list now. Cheers you two

Just a tip for you having experimented with all sites in and around Edinburgh I can recommend Mortonhall. Number 11 bus goes from campsite entrance into city centre. Also tried Drummohr with a P&R a short walk from the site and a quick train into Waverley. Enjoying the vlogs. Cheers

You can’t beat the Northumberland coast, it’s absolutely gorgeous and our go to place. We live in Kelso only 15 mile from Berwick so I’m there quite often to do a booze run to Tesco ( we don’t get special offers in Scotland 😂). There’s so much history in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders also a trip to Alnwick and Alnmouth is a must next time you’re up this way. BBC iPlayer Lost villages series 2 episode 3 is fascinating and a must see. Look forward to your next visit up this way and a visit to Rutherfords micropub in Kelso is another must. We’ve had guest stay at our B&B who have travelled hundreds of miles just to visit the pub 😃.

Well done Iain for stepping out of your comfort zone and into a stripper show 😂 I think I spotted a Neck Oil which at the moment is possibly my favourite beer after Landlord. Great to see the tattoo and also I appreciate the distinction between cheap and value for money. Sometimes people only see things like the tattoo as value if they are cheap. They don’t see what goes into a show of that size or what they are getting for their money. We love Edinburgh and can’t wait to visit again now 😊

Hi both, was gobsmacked when we saw you were at Seaview Berwick on Tweed today, as that’s where we were supposed to be tonight, but we had to turn back as we developed a fault on our Moho when the oil light came on and said it was overfilled. Gutted!!!! So it was lovely to turn on and find you there doing it for us, hopefully we can get away at some point next week but it will have to be somewhere closer to home now. My hubby saw Iain cooking with garlic oil and he says you need to try the Truffle version (if you like mushrooms) it’s really lovely too. Safe & Happy travels 👍👍👍
