The 1966, 1967 Lincoln Continentals were the most beautiful cars Ford ever produced. Pure class and the workmanship was exceptional. All the engines were bench tested at 98 mph for three hours and retorqued before being installed in the vehicles. The 462 cu. in V8 engine alone weighed 750 lbs. The 485 lb. ft of torque and 340 horsepower provided smooth takeoffs and effortless cruising. My dad had a 1966 Lincoln Continental in Emberglo with Black vinyl top and leather interior. The suicide doors were so cool and elegant. I remember how wonderful the ride was and how effortlessly it could cruise at 80 mph. No car ever made me feel as classy at that beautiful Lincoln. Fords finest hour!

Every company I see who operates essentially the same as this all post a very clear price for their vehicles. Posting a price with these vehicles is a sign of professionalism. It’s saves you and a possible buyer a significant amount of time. Nice Lincoln. 💯

It's a 67' someone put 66 fender emblems on. 66 and 67 were alike in some cases but the difference was the dashboard, steering wheel, and rear tail lights trim grill. I have a 66 coupe and I know the difference....

I'm in love! This Lincoln Continental convertible has to be one of the most magnificent cars I've ever seen at Vanguard. I'm a sucker for the big American cars anyway, and this Lincoln with its suicide doors is truly in a class by itself. Wish I could buy it! Keep up the great work, and keep that big old Detroit iron coming!

The Lincolns from 1962 to 1967 were the ultimate! Loved 'em all. Watching one of these beauties cruise down the highway you could just hear Camelot playing in your mind with nostalgic thoughts of the JFK era.

Love this car. When I was 13 in 1969 my dad came home with a two-year-old used 67 model Lincoln Continental, brown with a black hardtop. This became the car I drove on dates in high school, and I've loved these big luxury cars ever since.

I watched an episode of Jay Leno with the Lincoln convertible. He said it's the most complicated convertible ever made. He had a guy on the show that goes around the country repairing them. Very interesting.

His name is John Cashman, and he is absolutely correct. We have built a mild custom 67 Lincoln convertible, taking every nut, bolt, clip and screw off to start with a bare shell. I will never touch another Lincoln as long as I am in business. Check out the blue 67 at #1967LincolnContinental

Check the VIN on this Conti. Either it's a '66, or someone decided to put that Lincoln emblem on the front quarter panel on a '67 for "design's sake", which they should not have done. That's one of the few things that separate the two model years. In 1994, I drove a '67 2-door hardtop from Chehalis, Washington to Aurora, Illinois. Absolutely loved that car and miss it every day.

The 1967 Lincoln did NOT have the Lincoln emblem on the lower front fender near the wheel. That was ONLY on the 1966. I had a 1965 convertible and then a 1967 4 door sedan. Also had a 1966 T-Bird where the top folded into the trunk.
@ScottHughes-n4uАй бұрын
They must have added that star to the front fenders during the restoration. It has the 1967 safety steering wheel and seat upholstery.

Lovely car... although I'd prefer a '65 myself, I think that was the peak year for this style. One question for anyone who's owned one (or you guys who're clearly knowledgable about them): With the top down, is there *any* trunk space at all? Or is it entirely filled by the roof? As I'm a Brit, I've never seen one of these "in the flesh" - but I'm definitely going to buy one... but if the trunk is useless with the top down, I may go for a hard top instead. Although.... that roof... so cool....

Pretty sure this is a 66, so it's not the last year Continental convertible, so not worth nearly as much, and the non factory additions look silly and stupid...no amount of shininess can over compensate for that. 💩
