This showed up in my feed over the past week. Very fitting for the season. Also, this absolutely would fit as like a Lady Maria-esque bonus boss fight, maybe mix Lady Maria with Father Gascoigne a little bit. Love the switch to the second phase, especially the scream in the background. Really feels like Vani's fighting to keep control only for it all to be in vain as the monster within seizes his body for its own.

Second of all this song goes fucking PERFECTLY with this blood-bard-bodygaurd-person who wields a violin bow with a bow-string made of steel and uses the tendons in there arms and hands as the "violin". Very self-harmy, very edgy and I love him and I want to see his mistakes flash before his eyes as he is killed by my players :D And this song fits with him so well the violent violin bursts towards the end are just *insert moaning noise here*. To keep a strong structured, we have to put some bounds on compositional creativity. But I love transitions because these bounds become much less restrictive and you can let loose the craziest shit you can imagine. I can just throw paint at the wall and see what sticks. Sometimes some really fun and wild sections can emerge, like this one!

This feels like it would really suit a fight that has a lot of sound cues to keep track of. I could see it being great for that. One thing that actually frustrates me about actual Bloodborne tracks is that they have so much detail to them that in-game you can't really enjoy them at all because the fight takes so much of your concentration. Same with other games that have amazing boss music over difficult fights. Meanwhile this one has the atmosphere you want, it has the harrowing phase change in the middle, and you can tell when you've gone from a scary situation to a _very bad_ situation from the music, but none of it is distracting. Sure, Bloodborne music gets on the playlists, but this would be very good to actually put _in the game._ And to me that's more important.

Well, hunter like bosses without beast transformations can be very easily cheesed with Augur of Ebrietas. If they ever manage to stand up it doesn't take long to stun them back on the ground.

XD And on a lesser note, hoping they aren't a Bloodtinge expert (effing CAINHURST bastard) that can quick-draw you for 3/4 your HP before Augur finishes...actually, can your cast of Augur be parried?

The choir is stitched together from a sample library of recordings of professional choirs pronouncing individual letters. So the word "irae", for example, was made by stretching/compressing choir samples for each letter, holding onto the vowels for longer durations to make it sound natural.
