The elementalist spec is so much fun and so strong, mana intense though. This spec was figured out so deep in vanilla but it was so awesome. Good burst insane kiting

Nice plays. I like that you played Elemental Mage build instead of the usual deep frost talents. That being said, you should definitely try making another PVP Live Commentary with the Deep Frost talents (taking Ice Barrier and Imp CS) and compare it to this build. I find Deep Frost to be much more useful and consistent in WSG especially, and you might find better results!

Why arcane missiles around 4:30 on that pally instead of some other hard cast spell? Trying to learn some more of the nuance of this class. Is it higher dps? Better burst in a very short window? Thanks so much for these videos!

I thought the pally would go behind the wall where the boots are and start casting. Arcane Missiles goes through LOS and has a ton of range.

One thing to note on a mage is that using mana shield isn't a given; it is situational. It eats so much mana that if you spam it, you'll be alive but not have any mana, and a manaless mage is mostly useless. Other than that, not bad.

I've always mained mage from tbc - bfa but this looks like you just blow your instant burst then you're nearly oom or dead. Especially now that hunters know to spam viper sting. Pushes me towards warrior where you dont have to worry about mana.

It doesn't really matter anymore since classic is about to come out. But from the vendor with the potions on henhouse, you can get poison cleanse potions that will remove the hunter viper stings which keep making you go oom. Please note that i haven't heard your commentary for this video and you may have already mentioned that in the video. Keep up the good work dude :)

Hi all, debating Warrior, Rogue, or Mage,. What would you say is the easier to master pvp wise and most enjoyable?

Warrior is killing machine with good heals/gear in group style pvp,can be unforgiving in open world and 1v1 fights. Rogue is fun if you like open world 1v1 fights,but its cd dependant(once you get good gear,you can reduce this). Rogues do have a place in group pvp also,but mostly in role of guarding flags,and ninja caping nods. Mage on the other hand is realy good in group pvp,but also its one of the strongest open world,1vX pvp classes. Mage is not as much gear dependant as other classes,and its not so hard to pick up and be decent with it,tho to become top tier mage,you will need lots of practice. So in the end,whichever of these classes you choose you will not go wrong,just it comes down to what kind of playstyle you like.

I think it's better to use a frostbolt after root with frost nova instead use granade, cause you'll get critical bonus chance (50%), is the best moment to give a massive damage

Ah man got a mage to 56 on light's hope then really got bored of drinking after every single mob kill.. mage leveling is exhausting, and aoe farming wont be a solution on classic cz all the spots will certainly be crowded, but id really love to get one up to 60. Anyway goin for lock or hunter :p

I feel you man, but on the other hand u gotta play it smart. 1. Downrank Frost Nova. Only use rank 1 for mana efficiency. 2. Dont use CoC, Fireblast etc if your fighting one mob at a time. Just spam Frostbolt. 3. When the mob have about 20-25% HP left.. Instead of casting a Frostbolt or two to finish him off, use your wand instead. It will allow your mana reg to start regaining mana for your next pull. This applies to instances aswell, wanding when mob hits 25% HP. 4. Take all the talents that allow you to be more mana efficient (clearcasting aswell) 5. Mage armor instead of Frost armor, as long as youre not in a heavy contested area like STV.

Ok kids, listen up, here's how grenades work, if your target is inside the aoe the moment your cast finish, it will hit.. so that's what you're aiming for, takes a bit to hit sprinting rogues or epic mounted players, but knowing this makes it much easier.

Eh I mean he doesn't play it entirely optimally so it looks quite a bit different. He's a great player in general so he can pull off a close range style that works in pugs, but if you aren't using scorch often something isn't quite right. Any fire based mage spec is all about momentum off of burst/procs. He will do a great sheep but then starts running towards someone instead of instantly starting to cast a scorch or even fireball into fireblast. Great mages play the field and are thinking a few casts ahead while panning the camera mid cast to scope the situation and adjust spacing.
