I was on the “vanilla ice project” when I used to do marine construction with docks and sea walls. Rob was actually a very cool dude. True Floridian. Got his hands dirty with us setting pilings. He also had a big party for us with (if I remember correctly) “tacos Al Carbon” all you could eat for free. Drinks ect. Truly a great experience. His partner Wes Kain was a bit cocky lol. Big ego. But that’s normal here in Florida 😂 happy to see him still grinding away. #docksandmoreconstruction

You must not own your own home or have a nice lawn. Vehicles are heavy and they'll compact the dirt creating bumps and ruts. Mufflers are hot and they kill the grass. These nice homes have sprinkler systems and you can't drive a vehicle over them. Some people actually take pride in the way their home and yard looks and don't want mfers driving in them fucking them up. It's not that hard to stay on what's paved.

I applaud Rob, as he was so unhappy with life in the early 2000's. He had his metal album (which was great), but he was so angry at his past. Somewhere along the way, he accepted it, and his life, and his music became awesome to everyone again. He is such a good guy.

7 million in the United States per RIAA. I think I've read an article where it sold 14 million in total worldwide. But the idea that Ice is a one hit one is not factual. He did have a gold single with "Play that Funky Music (White Boy)" so he had two hits and got a plaque for the Ninja Turtles 2 soundtrack. Also, his critically panned live album did go gold.

I think the single has sold like 160million but the alum didn’t come close to that. It’s hard to say how much the album sold. I remember when it came out they claimed it was 15million copies in the US and like 30 million world wide. Same with thriller. They used to say it sold like 150 million world wide.
