Idk man.. EU firemaw has been very active for months if not years already. The only time it died a bit when TBC and WOTLK came but it was only for a short amount of time.

I mean there are raids around the clock on SOD and people still call it dead. People are just stupid fs. I also dont get why anyone would care about what they think. THese are "hype" players who play a bit when a new server or phase comes out, but no one you can rely on in your guild or whatever.

WoW Classic will never die, it's always been active. The only time it was a bit inactive was when TBC and WOTLK came but that wont happen for a long time now.

Hey man great content! Love supporting Classic Era. Waaay too many people let weird shit get in their heads like the auction house price inflation and going over youtube videos and forum posts about ironforge pro stats... its 2024, your already a damn lifer! stop letting these nobodies take the game away from you. Anyway yeah Stormwind and Ironforge /who to 50 people quite off on mankirk cluster at peak time. Its been climbing back up, people in all zones and most popular farm spots. Its been a blast

I’ll say this. I’m leveling a new toon right now with my friends and we’ve always been able to get a groups for dungeons so far. There’s always other players in the leveling zones but they’re not dense my any means. As for level 60 content, it’s never been better to be like a fresh pre-bis 60. In most guilds you’ll be fed tier and if yoy gdkp you’ll get cheap cheap stuff and some decent pay. TLDR: It’s never too late, it’s 20 years old. People will always play vanilla

Midsummer festival is here, its free a free buffs to help with leveling journey. Pair that with world buffs and youre an unstoppable killing machine. No better time than now to level a fresh alt.

My advice to anyone that wants to get into classic and is worried about gold, roll a warrior and main tank GDKP raids. If you make it to end-game and tank AQ40 or Naxx the payout is ridiculous.

That's ridiculous advice... warrior items sell for SO much gold. Gearing up a Warrior to tank Naxx is going to take you ages. If you're getting into classic and not buying gold, the best way to start is a healer. I would start on Priest or Druid. Druid gear always goes for min bid so you can get full tier 2 for like 5,000g old total. Hard to get into groups sometimes because raids only take 1 or 2 though. Priest gear is also super cheap and you can get into MC/BWL extremely easily.

@@TH-dg2mm whatever you play will take ages to gear-up without buying gold, tanking just has the largest results in the end. But yes i agree healing is another great option.

one of the reasons is that the ranking was sort of messed up by blizzard. So its easier to gear up in pve. As for lock.. it can be tricky to find a naxx but once ur in ur in and that spot is permanent

I made a shaman and got the whole 2.5 set for like 7.5k I didn't expect to get geared that fast, people are begging for healers and tanks you can get geared and rich very fast alot of gdkp guilds are all stacked and just feed you everything min bid and as a heal or tank its pretty normal to make 5-10k gold a week

untill you gotta raid and and flask cost 500g a pop, i want the experience of leveling and going into MC with a raid and progressing into bwl, aq40, naxx but that hyper inflation on raid consums when you dont GDKP i dont like that thats what i dont like, im having fun at deviate delight right now

flasks are not 500g a pop, all consume prices steadily decreasing. I am currently raid leading a prog guild, just killed KT for the first time. 6 months ago they were doing 4 hour molten cores. But its cool if you have fun on DD, I just cannot endorse DD because I dont think its going to go anywhere

Flasks are like 200g or so if u buy all herbs and make them yourself. Lotus are like 100g a piece right now. Its quite reasonable to afford raid consumms for at least naxx every week. Heck, dps/healers can skid by without flasking, see it all the time..

I suppose, or you could just play the game? You know go out in the world, pick flowers, mine ore, use your salt shakers, sell sappers. Run dungeons, get recipe drops that sell for a lot. Ya or you could just fixate on swiping which a very small amount of people do

I've went to SR runs and won loot. Then get messaged by multiple people to sell the said item. Easy gold. Or do some GDKPs (BWL, MC, AQ40 are really easy to get into and fast runs) a week and you can easily secure 10k+ gold. Thats plenty starting cash to get a toon going.

I have to say Horde side has felt super dead lately. Most days I log in, stand in Org for 5-10 minutest waiting to see if anyone is hosting a raid and then I just log out. Are there raids? Yeah, sure. Would I call Horde-side ERA "alive" or "well populated"... absolutely not.

the horde raids have 50-60 ppl signed up per 40 man. there are raids forming all hours of the day its nuts

I will never play ERA servers are 5 years old, full of T3 people, economy is so fucked. I cant wait for fresh vanila, when it happens.

economy continues to heal, the world is full of ppl in greens and blues too, in addition to people in T3. When you finally have all of the items in the game you can actually start playing it.
