Hi guys, update for you. For some reason, the first point of drowning for Night Elves does not seem to be working. I originally tested this on the Nostalrius server without issue. This no longer seems to be the case in the Light's Hope realm as well as other vanilla servers. Point 2 does still work as of writing this comment (tested yesterday)

It depends on the zone you drown in. As long as you drown in Dun Morogh area, you respawn in Coldridge.

I have some tips too: 1. Create one of each class and run straight away to the closest Inn or City for the rested exp. Then by the time you're bored with one character you leveled you can pick up another guy already rested. the rotation will make you have rested exp almost 100% of the time. 2. always pick up 2 gathering professions and cooking as your first 3 professions. You should save your stones and leather and sell your flowers. You'll make much more money by levling up your Leatherworking/Blacksmithing later but at the start you will need gold, lots of it so auction those flowers for a lot of gold instead of hording them up for Herbalism, you need too much gold for that so wait til you're that rich first. 3. When you run to your nearest Inn or town at lvl1 for the rested exp. Set up one guy as your bank. Also check all vendors in town if they sell items that would be better for you at lvl2. See, at lvl2 you can use a bunch more weapons/armor but they wont sell them in the starting zones. So when it's time to start lvling one of your rested characters you have 2-4 lvl2 items, you hearthstone, after a few kills you reach lvl2 and are overpowered for that zone to lvl5.

You do what you like to do, I personally don't have any interest in the end game at max level. I never did, in none of the expansions either. That to me was the boring part. I like to levelup and then pvp, that's it. So for me, I like almost 100% rested exp you'll get when you switch toon once per day or so.My tips are tips, optional tips, unlike your demands of telling me what I Don't do in the game.

I plan on doing just that. I will create and fill ALL of the available toon slots for my server and leave them in a rested spot. If Classic will really be around as long as WoW is around, then I will have plenty of time to level all of them to max, even ones who are bank alts. You may think I only need 8 toons (one for each class), but if I have 2 more toons that are bank alts, then I can have them designated as the gatherers/farmers while opening up that gathering slot on all the other toons for BoP professions and Engineering.

Add me to the list that think 1 slows down the leveling speed. Additionally, classic is about specs. People were not known as a priest. They were known as a Holy, Discipline, or Shadow Priest. Become an expert at your chosen main. Number 2 is great advise but you need to add fishing if you add add cooking. There are a few training areas where having fish will make leveling cooking significantly easier. Number 3, buying items from a vendor is a bit more complicated than that. As a rule making gold in Classic is an art form. Do not waste your money on gear that could be obsolete on your next quest or two. Training and mounts are expensive in Classic, You really do not want to be that guy that cannot afford training. Obtaining gold or mats with a maxed out toon is always significantly easier. Trying to buy mounts for 8 to 10 units without a maxed out main for gold is seriously counter productive. It might even cause you to quit for all of the wrong reasons.

World of Will In case you didn’t see: Can you tell us about unknown great items/quests. Perhaps ones that are removed from the game later on that you can hold proudly. Like future grandfathered items, recipes, etc. also maybe special items or BIS type stuff from professions like tailoring or leatherworking. Perhaps BIS gear for specific brackets like 30-39 so that you can do well in BGs and PvP

The rested xp thing, i've known people in the past who made a bank alt of every class, then every time that alt hit max rested they'd lvl it until the rested was gone then wait agai, rinse and repeat, it takes time but does not really take that much out of your main char and you end up with several mid level chars that you may was to fully level someday.

The importance of having the largest bags possible cannot be overstated in Vanilla. 1. That's where you are going to stash your loot, and gold being as rare as it is means every copper counts. 2. Buying blue items at the AH might last you for a few levels, but the right bags can last you for the duration of the game.

Great tips. For a Horde bank alt I recommend rolling a level 1 Tauren. Thunder Bluff's mailbox (and bank) is extremely close to the nearest auctioneer, less than half the distance you need to run in Orgrimmar.

I really liked this video - trying to study and prepare for the new realm of Elysium. Imo, people might know that you learn new skills once every 2 levels. SO as a #6 I would definitely add "Invest your money in cheap larger bags"! It's really going to be essential for the fresh realm to get the gold for the mount, which saves HUGE time while leveling, or casual gaming. People /cry way too much, that they can't get the gold, but if you stack copper - you get a silver.

I do a variation of the running thing... i start usually as tauren and do the start zone to lvl 6.. then run through barrens getting all flight paths past ratchet jump up the hill to valley of trials and then do all of them quests... im usually lvl 8 when im heading to senjin... its nice if u play a hunter or druid and feel gimped before pet and bear abilities because valley of trials becomes an easy 2 lvls and gets u ahead for durotar

Wetlands run. Get about 25% of the way across the Wetlands and die and the graveyard is halfway across the zone. Get into Loch Modan and immediately die, and the graveyard is by Thelsmar. Run into Dun Moroguh and immediately die, and the graveyard is outside Ironforge. You get all the flight points and the Wetlands run takes about 10 minutes.

Stona Raptor search kronos vanilla server. Go to the website. Create account. Download the game its about 5.5gb, start playing. From then om if you feel like you want to change private servers (not realms) all you need to do is go to the wow folder and open realmlist.txt and change the line in there.

the mail addon ctmail i believe also makes you able to send i think up to 15 mails to the named bankrunner, there is a shortcut for sending the items into the mail aswell but i dont remember it atm. Be wary doing it when racing though as it costs alot of cash at low level :3 I believe 15 items will cost you 4silver and 50 copper which is a huge hit if you only own say 15silver, also putting the items on AH costs you so you need to send an extra 5silver atleast on top of that. Once you are above level 20 it should not be of any concern with the cost

I love your videos Will, and there are some very helpful tips, but I do have to mention that I don't really understand the value of tip #2 - gathering the flight paths. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you come across quests (or even mobs for a certain quest) on your way to those points that you mentioned? Which means that even if you get the flight paths earlier, you will STILL traverse those paths later while completing quests, making that 17 minute trip a bit wasted?

1 tip you can add :) If you are realy into the game , level a warlock for summons or mage for capital portals.(if you play other class ofc) p.s. when i was a maniac , leveled all classes that can buff and all professions so i can stack buffs and consumables and all BoE crafted items, because you know vanilla is about those things ;)
