@trainknut5 жыл бұрын
@@Kacpa2 There's a complex algorithm that takes into account where you are on the map, how far you've progressed in the story, whether or not you're on horseback, and the time of day.. You'll notice in these ambience videos that not only to the background ambience sounds change, but also the music as the time of day changes... the music at night is a lot slower and more contemplative, like John is deep in thought while taking a midnight ride, while the music in the morning is full of upbeat tunes and riffs. Also, it should be noted that, because he recorded these while just standing around in the middle of the desert... even though the ambience doesn't technically have a "soundtrack" - this is about as close to a pure version of the ambience "OST" as you can find, because he's not riding a horse, or near dangerous animals, or anything that might alter the music algorithm.. so the game is just idly playing music without any complex calculations.

I never played rdr1 but played rdr2... I love rdr2 soundtracks but it doesnt bring that western vibe, the alone in the dessert but peaceful vibe. I just discovered this and I love it. I wish they would remaster rdr1 lol

So jealous, I love westerns and also enjoy pen and paper role playing games, but none of my buddies who like tabletops are into the western stuff at all.

I think in the next game, the world should be bigger and the map doesn't show where you are. You have to read the map to get your bearing. Also eat animals to survive.
@guinnesssauce8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it should definitely be more immersive!

I wish I could listen to this music playing RDR2. I can't play this KZbin video, because then the birds and crickets get mixed up with the ambient noise in the game.

I remember all those times when I got mad at something outside of RDR1, I wound pop it on and play just to throw dynamite at uncle to calm myself, good times. I even thought that the farm missions were never ending, boy was I wrong. RIP

To be honest... I loved RDR2, I really did. But it never reached the atmosphere and ambient RDR1 had. For that reason I still love RDR1 more then RDR2.

I neeeeed this for PC. Played the crap out of it when it first came out. I lost it before I finished the game. Now my PS3 is broken, and I have a decent gaming PC. Please rockstar, bring RD:R to PC.
