Chris Ramsay Hey Chris, loved the video, awesome content as always There's one thing I'd like to ask you which I encountered for a reeeally long time now ever since i started practicing any kind of palm basically...What I'm talking about is windows between my fingers which cause the card to flash from pretty much any angle and no matter how hard i try i cannot close them. Now this is a really stupid question I guess I'm just really desperate because I really tried anything ranging from grip exercises to different palm techniques soo...is there anything else you can recommend or am I just a poor devil? Thanks a lot man keep it up

it doesn't matter i have skinny finger and it isn't hard easiest way is to adjust your angle/ the angle the audience is looking from and even bending your finger a bit more (im guessing it's your pinky finger where the biggest window is) just adjust your finger by bending it

I have watched tutorial of this by almost a dozen other Magic Channels and none of them Have explained it as well as you have... I had convinced myself I would never be able to do this yet your explanation had me understand it in less than five minutes... Unlike other tutorials you actually spoke about the motion and how to properly hold the card, something absent in other tutorials for the Backpalm and one handed vanish

if you have smaller hands hold the cards closer to the top of your hand in the beginning and then when you make the move it will put the card farther down and better concealed

I know this is late but I just got back from Walgreens to get the Black Tigers Deck and I noticed Bicycle had a “Bridge Size” deck which is significantly smaller than the standard size. I have small hands so I was thinking about getting it but didn’t want to get so used to it that normal playing cards felt foreign. But in case you were still searching and if you haven’t seen them by now (you probably have) you should go check em out

@kouwbe
@kouwbe 7 жыл бұрын
LOL. It's a joke. While I am religious, I love magic and know it has nothing to do with invoking demonic powers. I just get a kick out of all the videos out to prove magicians have been given supernatural powers by the devil in order to perform their tricks. What other explanation can there be? They can't understand what they've seen on television so it must be because the magician sold their soul. Have you seen Chris' video when he addresses this? It's really funny.
@danegerzone5675
@danegerzone5675 7 жыл бұрын
yeah I've watched that video, and I think that it is enough explanation that chris is not one of them.. but for some magicians who does impossible magic, well I might agree on you
@kouwbe
@kouwbe 7 жыл бұрын
Daneger Zone, agree with me? Are we talking David Blaine or Aleister Crowley? As far as my research has gone I've yet to find any members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn to do card tricks for a living. There are absolutely magicians out there invoking demons to do their will, but that's a completely different type of magic. Spells and tricks are not even remotely the same. And even if a magician who did card tricks did sell their soul it would be more for fame and fortune, not the ability to pull a rabbit out of a hat. They'd have to do that themselves. Man, I've got off subject without intending to. I just meant to make a joke. I just know for a fact that if an impossible illusion is done then more likely than not it's a camera trick. It's amazing what can be done with clever editing. And if it's not camera editing then it's just a really great trick. Again, it's amazing what can be done with mirrors, magnets, and other very real tools.

this production is very good and very useful, I had some problems in the begining because the card kept appearing before it should...like...it kept flashing no matter how fast I did it. Eventualy I figured that if you tilt you arm back a little bit the flash is completly gone and it looks like the card just pops into your finger tips. Really magical. And this problem actualy got me to improve my speed A LOT, so double win. Thanks Chris!

Hei Chris, I translated one of your older videos (the one when the guy at the barber shop gets fooled so bad by your effects, love that video) into italian 😁 I'll definetly keep doing that as soon as I find videos not already translated.. It's also a funny way to improve my skills in english 😎 Keep up the good work man 💪
