twice! The brand was revived briefly in the 70’s but failed again. Today’s Indians are 3rd generation

Had a 1967 750 Royal Enfield as my first motorcycle, sorry you didn't mention the brand.

Thanks for the comment! We will have it in mind. Later we will make a whole video dedicated to Royal Enfield.

Very strange that Excelsior motorcycles were sold in the UK in the 1960s as a pal of mine had one. Excelsior Motor Company Ltd, Birmingham was an automobile manufacturer and a successor of (Britain's first) motorcycle manufacturer. Excelsior motorcycles were built between 1896 and 1965, originally by Bayliss, Thomas and Company.

More research needed, this was light on information and lighter still on accuracy.

my first bike was a chopped 71 BSA. They weren’t very fast but at 16 yrs old all i had to do was landscape for 1 summer to buy one. They probably went out of business cause the biggest engine was only a 650 and bikers like speed lol

Much of that history was so light on detail that it would have been better with no soundtrack at all - just nice pictures to click your bait. There were so many inaccuracies; BSA for instance, started in 1861, not 1919 and began motorcycle manufacture in 1911. NVT? a bad joke! Waste of time.
