Hi Dr V! Please do review more indian skin care brands like Deconstruct, Chemist at play and formula rx. They all claim to be nafe safe. Recently deconstruct has come up with a 5% niacinamide and 2% aplha arbutin serum which seems to be a more well rounded product compared to beminimalist which are just a single ingredient products. Even I asked about the same product to dr v , let's hope it's good ,I'm using this deconstruct alpha arbutin with niacinamide for two months , it's really good and showing good results , I'm using it in my both am and pm routine . I chose this because it's 5% niacinamide as she always say it's safe

Dr. V, can you please discuss the retinoid Adapalene? I saw your video on vitamin A derivatives and products recommended, but you didn't mention Adapalene. As it's available OTC in lower concentration, and Proactiv has a line with Adapalene, I'd like to hear your view on whether it's a good ingredient for skin of color and how it compares to other retinoids available OTC. And if you'd recommend Proactiv's Adapalene or another brand's. Thanks!

Hi Dr V, does Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F from TO degrade or weaken chemical sunscreens (spf 50) as it has an oil like texture and in one of your videos you mentioned that it wasn't best to put oils before sunscreen

Hello Dr., I have been experiencing stubborn and very noticeable dark spots scars on the temples from ingrown hair. I have been carefully watching your enlightening videos and therefore I am grateful. But no matter the SPFs, the hyaluronic or salicylic acids, the proper layerings or separately, always at night, even after treatments from two different dermatologists (one Belgian and one American), the dark spots always get triggered into huge annoying swollen painful bumps. I am seriously thinking of booking a consultation in your clinic in London but COVID restrictions make it quite challenging for a Belgian citizen. HELP !

Hi Dr.V I suffer from PCOD and have very stubborn acne marks. I used minimalist niacinamide 5%, salicylic acid face wash and serum and also Alpha arbutin 2% in my daily regime. Since then I have seen more breakouts and it has not reduced even after 4-6 weeks. Finally I have taken a break and just using kojic acid ointment which worked on my skin before I switched to minimalist. I don't know what should I use for the stubborn marks the acne leaves on my skin?. Do I continue with minimalist products?
