Yeah, that’s ridiculous. If you’re somebody as humble as Kathy Bates, you’re probably a bundle of nerves when accepting an award. Anyone with common sense and a normal ego would know it’s just an innocent oversight.

Not mentioned in this timeline was her performance in Six Feet Under which I just loved. Her inner--revolutionary and mischievous/wisewoman/girl was lovable & authentic. She's a good actor - and role model.

I think it was Evan Peters who said while filming AHS that it didn't look like she did anything special while filming, but then he was blown away to watch her on screen once it was completed. That she was an absolute master in her field. She's one of my all time favorite actors ❤!

Kathy Bates can do any character, at anytime. I found her when she first started working with Stephen King. Since, if she is in the movie, i watch it. She knows how to pick her roles. She is an absolute American Treasure. Luv ya Kathy!

I skipped over this in my recommendations dozens of times and now I kick myself. This is the best VF video I've seen. I wasn't aware that I loved Kathy Bates so much, but she is absolutely wonderful. She spends 90% of her time talking about how wonderful other people are and seems so down to earth. This one really lifted my spirits. What a classy lady.

Part of Dolores Claiborne was filmed in my hometown in Nova Scotia 11:25 . I’ve lived a big ol life since and it’s still a thrill to see her express her love of NS that way. A lot of locals were bracing themselves for “Hollywood people” and we were all pleasantly surprised. Anyone who interacted with her had nothing but wonderful things to say.❤
