As a Colombian who grew up in Southern California, I felt this in my soul. I love my Mexican brothers and sisters but I grew up hearing none of the slang in my family and taking Spanish at school was so weird. One of my best friends a few years ago whos gringo started dating someone just past the border into Tijuana and I’m not kidding, this guys has known me our whole life, started speaking to me with all of the slang that Pedro just said in this video. I was so confused because dude, when have I EVER said any of this?! It’s not a bad thing, it’s just different country to country. Pedro was a good sport but they should do another video where he introduces Chilean slang.

Canada ,Nueva Zelanda ,Australia, EEUU nacen de Inglaterra. LENGUA ENGLISH anglogermana. Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Chile etc etc nacen de España/Spain .Lengua ESPAÑOL latin Romano .

Those are chilean slangs and in guagua's case, that's a Mapuche (Chilean Indigenous) word so it doesn't make sense, this was a more "whole latin america" thing

His family left Chile when he was very small, during the Pinochet dictatorship, but he has never abandoned his roots, he comes on vacation every year to the north of Chile, and, above all, he has always defined himself as a chilean.
