Just instated my V630 a week ago. Very happy indeed however every hour or so their appears a half second blackout, (only from the projector) then carries on as normal. My 220V power supply is 100% stable. Any ideas or comments will be appreciated..

Nice review. I have the V630 and I love it, but it has enough input lag to make fast-twitch games just about unplayable (Mario Golf for the N64, for instance). Did they fix that with this upgraded version?

I'm not a big gamer, and I don't really notice any lag when I play (Luigi mansion 3, Mario Kart etc..). But I just ran a test and it was about 94 milliseconds. My setup is from switch to AV receiver to projector.

@@HipIOReviews Thanks. That is good to know. That is an improvement but still pretty high. I have measured my V630 at 149ms with the cloned stopwatch method. Did they add a game mode this time around? I didn't see that when you were scrolling through the menu.

I just upgraded from the Vankyo 510 620ANSI to the V630, Big Big Difference. Now on the 510 I was starting to notice a slight white to pink fade in the upper right hand corner of my screen. And I bought one of those pull down screens at 100 inches. And I cannot wait to pick this one up at Wal Mart today. I think the 510 was starting to crap out on me. Or the fade has something to do with the streaming device on the projector I use Apple TV or is it the projector crapping out please let me know?

I have this same projector and I find that when there is a lot of white scenes it’s horrible lacking details even if you manually lower the settings. Also can you please tell me how when I try to connect my iPhone my phones wifi disconnect after following the instructions. Great video.

I'm using the User Picture Mode. My Settings are: Contrast: 35 Brightness: 55 Color: 70 Sharpness: 70 For IOS as is uses wifi access point to connect. You will not be able to stream anything across wifi. You'll need local files. Hope this helps

there is comarison on yt.. 630 has slightly better colors and contrast, but the difference is hardly visible.. 630 w has lower inout lag 75 vs 150 ms. i take 630 w

60hz, It's the way I recorded it. I tried increasing the capture frame rate,but obviously didn't come out in the final product.

If you go to screen mirroring, it says IOS, hold the ok button until it flips to Android. Then swipe down on your phone and flip on smart view. You should see it populate the projector.

Android? When at the screen mirroring menu, it defaults to IOS.. hold the ok button to flip to Android

If the Bluetooth dongle goes into the 3.5mm or if the android box is connecting to a Bluetooth speaker I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I've found an alternate solution to this, I plug my firetv stick and I connect the firetv stick to my bluetooth soundbar and it works wonders

@@HipIOReviews if you really want to stand out, buy a lumen meter. The 6000 lumen ratings on these projectors are non realistic. Somewhere down the the line you will read 280 ANSI lumen, which sounds more realistically and is totally fine for a 1 m2 screen surface...

I just tried the Energon 2 and unfortunately its shit. I had a wimius one and the picture and everything was great, but it had transportation damage and I had to send it back. Then I tried Artlii Energon because it seems to look nicer. But the picture and sound was very shitty and you cant set your own rbg preference. Now I maybe try the vankyo beamer

@@winkevinci Thanks for the answer. I still have to figure out if I'm willing to spent ~1500 euros for an ultra-short focal length. That was my first plan. At the end I could decide to stay below 700 euros. I find this Vankyo 630W interesting. Your feedback would confirm the Vankyo 630W is superior to the Artlii Energon 2. So I would go for Vankyo below 300 euos. If I spend more maybe the Xiaomi Smart compact projector or the famous Benq 1090. Await for black friday next week for us. Also I think 2021 will the year in terms of projector. Let me know if you have any advice or thoughts.

The only issue I encountered was was switching to android screen mirroring it wouldnt switch. Unplugging the power and holding down the power while reinserting fixed it. Otherwise no issues

Vankyo sells more newer models in USA and old outdated garbage models in Canada. Example V700 or V630W or VF630T or VF620T (Newer models) are sold only in USA and not in Canada. What a partiality service that is Vankyo ???? By this Canadian customers are forced to only buy outdated models. I didnot buy V630 for its very high fan noise. Many had complaints with V630 for its fan noise.

Ok, some of your specs are wrong! The link for Amazon clearly states 【6800 LUX NATIVE 1080P PROJECTOR】not 7600 like you say in the video & Image Contrast Ratio 5000:1, not 6000:1. You need to check your facts and proofread for errors before you post a review for consumers and potential buyers.

It's 6800 lumens and 5000:1 Contrast ratio, I looked it up on google. Not bad for a home set up. Better than the Vankyo 510 that one is crap.

Bad projector my sanyo from 2005 with a bad lamp looked way better.The specs are no where in the same region as advertised.Cant even give this away now no one wants the dark fuzzy image don't buy it get refurbished one by a reputable name like sony or hitachi etc those ones with hdmi made between 2012 and 2017 are the best.
