Vanlife Australia Roadtrip | Townsville and Magnetic Island Adventures

Townsville is the largest city in Far North Queensland, but we're not really city people! In this episode of our Vanlife Australia Roadtrip, we go Mountain Biking and make some new friends on the trail, climb Castle Hill overlooking the city, and do an awesome hike on Magnetic Island.
We also chat about one of the realities of van life, as Nigel heads off to remote North Western Queensland for a work contract.

Hey Nigel. Good to see your getting back in the cockpit. I took a break from flying in July and have just been enjoying spending time with Laura and working on the Sailboat. Hope to see some video of your flying, and some more van life from you and Sue.

Hey Mark good to hear from you mate. Yeah it’s sure been a while between flying gigs. A whole year essentially. But what it has done is open our eyes to what’s important. And that’s living basically. Plan on adding a few flying tidbits. Will eventually be towing the big geo survey loop around for a few months to help boost the beer tokens up and allow for the next lot of touring around. One aspect I love to see is your everyday life inside the van. Cooking, making coffee and generally hanging out in and around the van. After all it's a beautiful build 👍

We did see a crocodile yesterday! But while those dangerous creatures are here, they aren’t too common
