I love White Sands. I was able to spend the night out in the sand one time. Sunsets there are awesome. It can get really windy in the spring. Regarding the pizza, try small jars of pesto. Aldi's has one with sun-dried tomatoes that makes and excellent pizza sauce.

Daiya was started in my hometown - fantastic success story! For the pizza sauce, I’d get tomato powder (mine is from The Spice House) and add seasonings to taste - mix with water to make the desired consistency. I’d also skip the rack & steaming - you can make a lovely “bar pizza” just with the crust on the pan bottom.

You might try tomato paste in a tube sprinkled with Italian spices for a pizza sauce. You could get 3-4 small pizzas from one tube. Resealable lid and small size would fit easily in your cooler.

I'm thinking that pizza would cook well on an outdoor grill too & crisp the crust. I love pesto for my pizza sauce as another mentioned. Really prefer it to red sauce. When I grew basil I made pesto with walnuts ! Yum 😋

If you have not recently had an eye exam I will encourage you to do so now. I began the journey of trying to block son, block glare, and to also adjust view for nighttime driving. Shockingly I had quick developing cataracts which can develop earlier than one think. Within a quick few months I could no longer drive at night. There were clues that I was missing. Nice video!

The visor things look great. I'm not living VAN NOMAD life yet but planning a few road trips in my car& always have sun issues. And night time headlight glare problems too. Even ordinary days just driving WEST home from getting groceries ! Thanks for all the info you share. Love watching & learning ! Many of your tips hel me here in my Tiny House I'm renting too. Have a bit over 200 sq feet in my efficiency with Kitchenette plus bathroom so it's HUGE compared to your van ! I do lok forward to downsizing much more & leaving here when lease is up September. For easy pizza sauce I always use a small can of plain pizza sauce, add dried Italian seasoning, dehydrated onion & garlic then use any leftover for a quick pasta sauce. I’ve ordered tomato powder from Amazon to try, but haven’t received it yet. Hoping I can add a little liquid of choice (water, oil, vinegar,etc) to come up with paste and sauce to use as needed.

If you had fried the pizza without the wire rack for a short while at the end of the cooking process (with all the water gone, of course), that would crisp it up a bit. It looked like a decent pizza. I wonder if most people know that when you undo your actual vehicle visor that you can literally pull those toward the mirror they slide sideways. So just undo it as if you’re gonna put it to the side window but don’t pull it sideways toward the mirror. I did not know this for years myself. With regard to your day and night extendable visors that you purchased I use mine on the opposite side when it’s folded up but I use it the same way you do. Another words when the visor is up out-of-the-way in a normal vehicle my yellow ones are on the bottom that I can visually see but they still work the same as the way you have yours positioned. Love your channel by the way it’s always so tranquil and interesting. Came back to post KZbin video. It’s not where I found out that trick however it does show how it works although they use the side window for the example while I just pull it sideways toward the mirror but it works the same. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/bniVmWN_p7JoZ7s

@@LadyBugout lol sorry. It will for the people with cars. Wish I could send pics of how it looks as I was 60 when I learned that from a friend on FB lol. They pull sideways on the rail that holds them to the vehicle ceiling (after the normal unlatching then from the clip of course). Your van has taller windows as well I’m quite sure So that middle piece you purchased is exactly what you personally need as I’m sure your windows are a little wider as well. Dee have you ever been to the Florida panhandle beaches where the Quartz Crystal white sands are ? Okaloosa Island is my favorite or GRAYTON BEACH STATE PARK .It's called the Emerald Coast too. Gorgeous crystal clear Gulf waves in Spring & Fall. Also St.George Island State Park. No free camping tho. St.George Island has 9 miles of clear beach with no condos or houses. Topsail Hill is another place near Destin were one can walk long distances & see no houses or telephone poles. The DUNE LAKES around GRAYTON & Blue Mountain Beach are my favorite too. In WINTER the sand drifts really do look like snow ! Great place to have a White Christmas in mild chilly temperatures.

The chipotle sauce sounds good. I like crispy pizza crust. Instead of putting it on the trivet and adding water, I would have added a little oil to my pan and cooked it that way. You can also do that with a flour tortilla, salsa, onions, and cheese.

That is such a beautiful & serene place. I love the idea of chipotle sauce on a pizza - YUM! I need to use carb free tortillas for my crust. Of all the van builds I have seen, yours is the closest layout to what I have imagined. Even though you need to "make and unmake" the bed every day, it allows the most living space during the non-sleep times, and with a large dog plus other pets, I want/need that space! I had been researching the Pleasure-way Ford Transit camper van for years (impossible to find one that was/is affordable plus in good shape) before coming upon your site. Now, I enjoy your travels...!

Loved the views. Great video thank you. I had a roof deck on my FTC when I had it also. Mine folded in half so that the solar panel was exposed except for when I was on the deck. Now I am in a promaster and have what I call an "invisible" deck. Lol. I beefed up the inside of my roof with supports and plywood so that it could be walked on with no problem. From the outside you don't know anything like that has been done. I also mounted my ladder on the inside of the back door so you don't know its there until you open the door. Then you can walk right up to the roof. Stay safe and have fun. -Brad

I use a tube of tomato paste for my pizzas. I love daiya! I put a slice of American style on toasted Ezekial bread. It's my healthier version of grilled cheese.

AND, if they do have to drill holes they need to use lock nuts on the inside, just using sheet metal screws can result in them coming loose & pulling out when climbing

Such a beautiful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. You might try tomato paste for your pizza. Hunts makes a small can with garlic, basil and oregano. No corn syrup or soy. But it does have dried cane syrup.

From your last video, I bought all of the visor things and I like all of them, plus an added bonus when going through your list of things you had a link for the little chandelier, and I had to have that too. lol You should get a bit of kickback from all my purchases, you are quite welcome! haha I travel in a Dodge Grand Caravan, and I was able to put the visor clip on the back side of my visor, and it is a little bit of a tight fit for putting it down, but it does work, so I left it that way. Thanks for showing us all the cool gadgets, it was very helpful.

❤hi 🐞, I had to comment. Being on a fixed income, that lil middle visor thingy, I took my old yoga mat, & cut it to fit. My 2017 Ford Transit connect has a huge arm off mirror, due to aftermarket backup cam install. I watched Bunnies vid about your time at ","Gutted" tell us WHO WON!?!?!🙃. CANT WAIT TO GET OUT THERE. I'm rebuilding between snowflakes here,,ugh. Take care

Penzies Spices has a great pizza sauce seasoning mix. You could get a small jar to have on hand then just mix into tomato sauce. Super easy and yummy!

White Sands National Monument is delightful. Must warn against heat stroke if there during summer days. Full moon nights feature late hours and events, check their schedule. Tomato paste which has basil, oregano and garlic comes in tiny cans - add olive oil to make pizza sauce.

It is in New Mexico. It is a National Park everything is well marked. Only way to get lost is by going off trail or off the road!
