The sound of your horn reminded me ( for the umpteenth time ) to shop for a replacement horn for my 2018 Chevy Express. To say it sounds anemic would be an understatement. Also, my sister says I'm paranoid when I tell her to be aware of her surroundings, I just tell her she's naive. Gets a little quiet after that. 😂

Yikes! Had similar experience in our campervan. I slept soundly and my husband mentioned hearing a freight train during the night. Lifted the window blinds and wondered why there were branches against it. Went outside and found a pine tree had fallen and the top branches were lying against window!! Other campers came out and said they'd run into the concrete bathroom because of the tornado!! We had no clue. Thank goodness for our guardian angels.

Haha energy balls! I used to make a not so healthy version of your energy balls for my kids (and I) for our daily excursions, but we called them Scooby snacks! For the kids out there who don’t wanna be so healthy… Creamy Peanut Butter Confection Sugar Crunched cereal like Cheerios Optional (raisins or chocolate chips). 😘 Cream & Roll that mix into smal balls and roll in more sugar. 😋😋😋. Kid fav

Great info 7:10 if you back into a spot so your nose is pointing out for a quick exit pull Florida a little bit so if somebody does block your nose, you can back up some, and possibly go around them by then pulling forward.

I’m Australian and know you can be in danger hundreds of miles from any people, there are some places I just wouldn’t go. People remain your greatest danger and people are also your greatest saviour,birds of a feather should flock together. Dingoes are always looking for the easy meal,so don’t make yourself an easy target. Listen to yourself, it’s the beauty of being mobile, if you feel uneasy for what ever reason don’t hesitate to leave, you can always have a laugh about it later . You also unlike us Aussies 🦘🐨 is you have the second amendment,don’t be scared of being trained up and be for ever ready. My experience is that the training is great fun and you will meet a lot of incredibly lovely people that are more interested in protecting their loved ones more than anything else . You truly have to be unlucky to require anything in the way of protection but being prepared will always make you stronger. Stay strong,happy travels ❤️❤️😎😇🙏🙏🦘🐨🇦🇺

All good tips Dee, and it is just smart to review these safety tips on a regular basis. It is the world in which we live, and although most people are good, it only takes a few bad ones to ruin things for everyone. But you do have to balance fear levels so that you can go out and enjoy life. I think you have a healthy balance Dee, thanks for sharing and have a great week! 🥰

I used to work at a club close very to home and finish work late at night. I used to walk home and hold my keys with a key in between each finger, hanging out near my knuckles. A female, no matter how strong, could cause pain to a strong man with one strike to give you enough time to run and escape. I have lived through many life-threatening situations, and each time, i never woke up in the morning, expecting that my day would end that way. Always be prepared as you never know and listen to your gut instinct. Your natural alarm system. ❤

I wonder if you’ve ever had to take another person to get gas, or someone who needed help, can they sit in back without a seat belt, or have you had that situation?
@LadyBugout
@LadyBugout 2 күн бұрын
I decided that I would not likely have another passenger. And yes, if need be, I could have someone sit in back without a seatbelt-but that would have to be for either an emergency situation or for very short distance not on a highway.

I’m grateful that I don’t have to fuss w my hair, either. I’ve not had a hair dresser, and I don’t color mine. At 66, mine is still not totally gray, it hides underneath, and you can only see it when it’s up, which is rare, except hot summer days outside… You are fortunate, too. My hair just doesn’t get that dirty,unless I’m outside a lot and it’s super windy and dusty or I’ve been doing a lot of landscaping… thanks again for thorough and helpful tips and sharing all of your routines, cooking and everything!
