There are longer filters with same gasket width and same threads you could put on there to make it easier. On my Dodge Caravan the book says PH43, but I always use (Fram size equivalent) of a PH-8A, or Purolator PL30001, which was used in the 1970's for those Dodge big block engines like 383ci to 440ci size. It's wider too, but sealing gasket is same size & I have the space for both extra width and depth. You seem restricted on filter width, but have room for longer filter.

you need to use the other window and put the air con on the swivel seat to shorten the hose that releases heat. You are putting almost the same amount of heat as cold air with the hose extended that far, which is why it seems it is not worth it!!! experienced this myself

WAVE 2 - I find mine cools better when it is off MAX & I make sure to install the drain tube and set the unit to automatic drain. Otherwise I only get 5 degrees less than the outside temp. If you use your phone, you can see what the output temp is. That's how you know it is putting out colder air on Manual than on MAX. Drain tube ... muy importante.

BACK RELIEF- Matthew, I use a very wide stretchy elastic band that velcroes together in the front around my body for pain relief. It helps trwmendously and can be worn under your shirt. You can get one at a medical supply facility. It’s approximately 12-16” from top to bottom and fits under your boobies and over your lower abdomen. I can’t tell you how much it relieves pain. You pull it as tight or loose as you need because it stretches.

With the Wave; Don't use the fresh air intake just recirculate. Don't use the evaporate function. The drain plug has to be modified (It always clogs) Or set it up to drain directly into a container. The unit will work on cooling much better if you use it as above.
