Lisa, I was touched by your words. You have the ability to transport those of us who follow you, not just showing images, but being there. Those who think you can't handle eight-foot waves is because they haven't seen you. They will get off the bed and onto the chair 😱🤟🏼 much more dangerous 😜 The white waves were going from side to side, when your friend was seen from the drone Active oxygen prevents us from seeing how currents crisscross beneath the waves, it is dangerous, more so than the spectacular waves in the images of the south. My wife is a carpenter/cabinetmaker, she draws very well, she has been making themed pendants for each friend and family member for years, where she does exactly what you have done. Capture a moment in a person's life, in fact we have a "wooden medallion" with the most important things of each year. I think it's an incredible detail that you personalize the gifts, the time spent is more valuable than any purchase. I don't know how to draw well either, but seeing the result of your wooden medallions, it seems to me that they look even better with those "imperfections" true art is that of a child's drawing And you have captured it, they are like you, free and without filters. Happy Holidays! Your ornaments turned out great, the best thing is you made them. I have fun making embroidered ornaments (candy cane cover\sliders) to give out during the winter season to cheer some people up, this year it is a little snowman and I got to make a little girl's day while picking up supplies, the little girl seen me and yelled "Hi Santa" ( I have a white beard and was wearing a Santa shirt), not seeing her at first she popped out from around a display with a big smile on her face, when I handed her the candy cane with the snowman on it she giggled, hugged it and smiled and showed it off to her Mom and Grandma. That one little smile made my day to.

Up here in Northern California, they had 25 ft waves at Maverick, it was wild. I don't surf, but still. That said, orthogonally, I have found that when parking lots are full, if I can get to a ranger I can ask whether there are blue spots available because sometimes the parking lot is full except for the disabled parking, and Canadian disabled parking placards are good here in California, and vice versa. I love my handy dandy parking placard.

I live in Georgia (USA) and it’s 42F here. For a Georgian it does get a bit nippy here. It was 29F the last few days, so we must be having a heat wave. 😊 I started my Vanlife journey officially 3 days ago, but I’m fresh out of hospital, with a ad infection in my lower right leg. Thankfully I seem to be on the road to recovery. So I sit and wait for the money to arrive for me to drive to the keys. I haven’t been there for far too long.

I got out of the hospital on the 21st i treated myself xamas is good reason as any other bought myself a electric trike since my legs don't work worth a dam right now it is helping to get my legs working again i am trying to get out of the wheelchair and off the walker 18 months of chemo and imuno therapy left me pretty wasted but at 73 i am coming back slowly but shurely You have a good Christmas

I'm wanting to travel like you someday but only fear I have is fuelling my van, majority of gas stations in my part of Canada are self-serve, it takes me about 10 minutes to exit my van and then another 10 minutes to re enter it, sometimes I can pay at the pump but sometimes I have to go into the station but I eventually get back on the road again, but no fun being in a wheelchair in pouring rain or heavy snow haha. Good video.

Maybe a foil would be better, once you get a little speed or you're on a river that has good swells you come up out of the water so it's not only easier to paddle, but also you go much faster and can carve pretty tightly. I have a lot of drawings of hybrid concepts becuase there are things I want to build to get me back out into my beloved outdoors that I have been missing in the past 7+ years since my accident (ironically, bad stairs in the tiny woodland cafe after a weekend of enjoying family and rafting); I hope to be able to get out sooner than later, the sooner I can start working on adaptive technologies for myself the sooner they'll be available for everyone else, because, like everything else I do, I support open source/creative commons licenses on my intellectual property so that everyone can benefit. Knowledge should be shared and grown, not hoarded to wither in silent obsolescence. And everyone should be able to at least have the access to try anything their minds can dream up.
