Thanks for your authenticity. And for the information about harvest host. Appreciate your sharing. also watched the New Jersey Guy's van tour of your rig on his you tube channel. Learned a lot from that. Question, how do you vent your mattress? Do you have holes in the plywood, or a venting mat underneath. Or is condensation not an issue. If I want to send something to you, where do I send it? Blessings, Cher
@FearlessJacey3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cher, thanks, I try to be as honest as possible because I think that's the best way to let people know they can be adventurous too. At this time, I do not have a ventilation system in place for my mattress, but I have not yet had an issue. If I had spent more time on the build before moving in, I would've drilled large holes into the plywood under the mattress.

I had a 2003 B2500 and I had to make sure that the air got out of the system, and keeping the resivore topped off. Great van if you just keep the oil changed.

I love the van so far. I knew there'd be mechanical issues because it sat alone for awhile before it came to me. I just get a little panicked that it might happen when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

I know you have traveled extensively in the world, the traveling your doing now, is very different from what your used to. It’s not just ur mind and body but also your spirit needs to adjust also. Give your self a couple months to acclimate.

Thanks Zalley! You're very right. I used to hostel hop and stay in a city for 5-7 days at a time. Certainly not sleep in a new spot every night. But it's it's own kind of adventure. 😁

@@FearlessJacey an adventure it is it. I’m hotel hopping at the moment, being a traveling CNA. I may even start out in a van just because, well,, just because LOL. I have lived very small in the past. I can shower every day in truck stops. They cost anything from $5.00 to $12.00. The convenient thing is that ya don’t have to carry enough water to shower. It used to be a person could go to a motel and pay$10.00 to take a shower if you cleaned it. I don’t know if that still exists or not.

Hello Princess a pair of socks for 21 dollers? Very costly! Because at India 🇮🇳 we brought 5 pairs of socks at just ₹100/- and 1 USD = ₹75/- INR.
