The evaporative system code is not a dun one to deal with! As our vehicle gets older, those rubber hoses in the charcoal filter get brittle and leak very slow. I think you might want to recruit your dad to look at them and replace those hoses. They are somewhere near the fill-up gas tube. Also, do not overfill your tank. Once it "CLICK," don't pump more into the tank. You introduce gas into the evaporative charcoal filter and damage the system in the long run. Sorry for the long "Blah blah." 😆

I don't think the gas cap will cost to much, I would get one, it can always be handy as an extra part for the road. Don't think you could go wrong doing that. Be safe, God bless.

My light went on and I went to a garage and they took a look. Now this was part of a reputable chain. Told me the Whole emission system had to be replaced!!! And that gas cap was okay. For $10 on Amazon I ordered a new gas cap. Guess what… my check engine light went Off!

I'm glad you regularly decide to focus on the journey and check things out that interest you instead of staying caught up in getting to the destination. 😊 Also, it's interesting to hear that some people are saying Kansas City is dangerous. I lived there before grad school and it was like any other city - it has its shady areas and its nice areas. You just have to be as vigilant about your surroundings as you would be in any other large(r) city. 🤷‍♀ I definitely plan to go back when I start traveling in my van for some BBQ. 😍

I think it’s weird when people are obsessed with knowing when a video was done because clearly it doesn’t really matter. It’s just entertainment like television.
