The Traveling Taylors

Күн бұрын

Our Wales Vanlife road trip continues. We take a walk along the lovely riverbank at LLanrwst before heading through Snowdon and out to Anglesey. We get the feeling Vanlife is no longer welcome on Anglesey. After some fun at one of our favourite places to spend a couple of hours and having tea on the beach (dinner to those from elsewhere) overlooking Redwharf Bay. We have a look round and decide to leave Anglesey and head for Caernarfon.

I live on Anglesey born and bred for 43 years, i also own a camper van. its a shame that they are closing everywhere for us to park up but that is for the reason that people from away don't give a shit about leaving mess and human shit everywhere. I have seen it with my own eyes and know people on the council. if you do come here please clean up after yourselves and things might change.

Unfortunately it is exactly that. It is such a beautiful place and we have enjoyed many family adventures exploring Angelsey, things have definitely changed though. We never have anything to clean as we are completely self contained. I also think local councils or parish councils in the Whole of the UK could do more. We visited Elsdon in Northumberland during the summer and they had it perfect. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6OvfmWpbNFjZ9ksi=FlGFw-H-qWn81r1R A donation based system that has already paid for upgraded facilties in the village hall. But a paid for disposal point like in europe that had grey and black an fresh water, wouldn't that be so simple. 5 quid a go. It is terrible what people leave, where we stopped for tea there was rubbish all over the beach. I picked a bit up whilst Michelle made tea. I ended up in an argument with a local lady as she just let her dogs off to sh*t everywhere with no intention of picking up, just walked past it. It seems to be more than just vanlifers that have a problem. It is the people who live in the places. I just don't put it in because Michelle says people don't want to listen to me moan about litter and dog poo. Southport is terrible, when the first lockdown ended people flooded to the beach. 5 bags of bbq and beer. Everything just left and people sh#^ing in the sand dunes instead of walking to the loo. It took an army of volunteers a week to clean it. Then we have streets filled with dog 💩. It really gets to me how people treat their on home town. Thanks for commenting ✌

Exactly put, it is not everyone but its the few that do unfortunately. And yes other counties in Europe do it right its a shame the uk cant cater for campervans like they do.@@traveling-taylors

We point blank refuse to use sites because of the prices they charge. We would much rather spread the money saved on site fees in other local businesses. It is a shame that Wales in general are so anti van. We stayed on Anglesey a couple of times last year and did find decent park ups but they are few and far between.

How do guys. I'm really sad that things changed in Angelsey. It used to be great to park up but, obviously, the few spoilled it for the many and camp sites charging 40 quid a night for a patch of grass and no hook up is a bit of a micky take. You do know you can park overnight on the car park of Baeumauris castle for a tenner a night still? Or has that changed. There were a few memories brought back with this video from the places you visited. One you could look at is Llyn Padarn. we went last year to photograph the lone tree there and there were a few vans parked over night. Maximus would love it. I'm sure you and Michelle would too. Looking forward to the next episode of the Taylor's bimbles through wales. As ever, absolute respect 🙏- Kenny

Yeah 40 night is terrible for a grass park up. I don't know about the castle at night, we didn't go on the carpark it is very expensive in the day from all reports now though. We have had a good few adventures on Angelsey, it's such a shame a few ruun for all. Thanks as Always Kenny 🙂

Someone tell the truth. It is not people on holiday. I know that and so do you : The ferry to Ireland goes into and out of Holyhead. This creates a problem that only the French National Gendarmerie deal with appropriately. 😊

We park where we like and we always will, as long as we are respectful to the area which we are we will continue to do so. We have a human right to travel and roam anywhere we see fit as long as there's no harm loss or injury . We live under common law, that is no harm loss or injury to another human. Any sign comes under an act, statute or mandate, these do not apply to a living human unless you concent to said sign otherwise it has no power . Sadly we are lead to believe that we have to adhere to acts, statutes and mandates ( and signs) none of which are lawful. We are the only creatures made to pay to live on this planet by vile entities at the top. I would urge you and anyone else to start learning common law /universal law if everyone new their God given rights and stopped bowing to tyranny the world would be a better place place. The people at the top rely on our ignorance to control us, knowledge is power and again I would urge anyone to learn their basic human rights (common law) and learn that ANY act, statute or mandate DOESN'T have any power if you don't agree to it 👍🏻. One more very, very important note never ever if asked by a police constable of the LAW (officer relates to acts, statutes, mandates)" do you understand" you always say no, no matter what, they are not asking you do you understand the question they are asking you to stand underneath them which then gives them the power to apply an act, statute, mandate. This vile technique of our language is called legalese again they use our ignorance against us. Roam where you want stay where you want as long as you cause no harm, loss, injury which you 100% definitely don't your living by the law and not made up rubbish. Safe travels love, peace and good ❤️🙏🏻

@@traveling-taylors what happened to Maximus was horrible and we pray will never ever happen again 🙏🏻, ignorant humans thinking they have the right over other's 🤯 just bonkers . My comment was about education to all who reads it hopefully 🙏🏻 as the more humans that realise we have inalienable rights the better for all of us 👍🏻 not just the van community but the whole world 👍🏻. Someone should definitely educate that idiotic pair that frightened Maximus. Safe travels love, peace and good energy ❤️🙏🏻

@@derrickmurphy9859 it's definitely a very small minority that show no respect 👍🏻 and sadly it's the majority that has forgotten we have the right to roam and freedom to travel. All done by design by the scumbags at the top that make up all this completely false legislation. We all need to look into why all our bills, drivers licenses etc are all in block capitals 😬 it's all a massive fraud. Have a great day my friend 🙏🏻 sending love, peace and good energy ❤️🙏🏻
