Welcome to our channel we are Nikki, Sharon and the 2 dugs Buffy and Xander we have spent the past 2 years converting a £800 old joiners van into a campervan with the plan to go full time Vanlife and travel as far as it will take us.
These things take time tho and whilst we save and wait for life to allow us some freedom we are trying to get to all the places in Scotland we’ve not visited before and some others that keep drawing us back lol
In this weeks episode we head off on what we thought was a quick walk to find Scotlands pyramids (spoiler it wasn’t quick 🤦‍♀️). We hear the deer rut at glenshee and we cut our holiday short due to some really bad weather. Just aswell because our wee village had the worst flood we had in Aberfoyle for years

We were just casually watching, and were taken aback when you mentioned our channel. Thank you so much from all of us, that was really cool. We shall make sure we say something ourselves. ;) Those floods look bad. I grew up in a place in the Pennines where they sound the air raid siren when the river banks burst, so I know how disruptive it can be. Hope the van is safe and well.

You’re welcome hope it helps 🤞🤞 we get a good few floods every year but that was the worst I’ve seen the village is still a bit of a mess due to the fuel tanks spilling so now there’s loads of contaminated soil having to be removed 🤦‍♀️ the van survived another one, need to replace the diesel heayer air filter as it was soaking in kerosene small job tho could have been much worse xx

Hi Juilie house and van are fine 👍 need to replace the air filter for diesel heater as a few fuel tanks went over in the flood water and contaminated it with kerosene but we were very lucky . Hope you two are good xx

We’re so glad to hear that Nikki……..flooding looked awful. We just got the torrential rain and wind but no flooding. Apart from it being Monday tomorrow, all good here. Loving the Ruffly updates xx

Hope there wasn't any damage to the house and van, , When we was in scotland we saw a golden Eagle at Dunnets head. It was quite magical ❤
