Hi guys welcome to the channel and part 2 of our nc500 Gairloch trip.
Regular viewers will know we had to change all our plans last minute due to our dog hurting all his paws. We usually like to keep moving and see as much as we can so it was a big change to stay on a site and slow things down. We loved it lol
We stayed at Sands caravan and camping site and it’s our new favourite site on the nc500 (well just off the nc500). 150 EHU and park up wherever you want. In the dunes or find a sheltered spot. It has such a chilled vibe to it with a great restaurant, spotless facilities and best of all its own(almost).
Sharon tries out her metal detector and after searching the whole beach and finding nothing she finds something on our way back to the van.

Such a beautiful place. The Frisbee bit reminded me of the beginning scene of a 1980s film, Flight of the Navigator. Looked like a lot of fun!

That was my favourite film when I was a kid along with Howard the duck lol. Yeah Gairloch is stunning first time we’ve been and will defo go back. How’s firefly coming along? X

@@rufflyadventuring3579 Aww yeah, it's one of ours too. We were going to build the robot, R.A.L.F. Firefly is on the back burner for the next few weeks, unfortunately. Our financial situation has changed, my self-employed business has taken a hit, so we're all hunting for jobs. Firefly will still be done at evenings and weekends, but we're going to have to aim to work on her over the summer. :( Xx

Aww that’s a shame about your business hopefully you’s find something soon. We did the van at evenings, weekends and the odd holiday and defo got loads done over the summer. If we head down south this summer we will come give yous a hand. Planning some trips just now and wales is defo on the list x
