Great tips! Hubby and I plan to get a Ford Transit RV with echoboost in a year or two. Excited to travel and work from the road. Love your informative videos! This is the third one I have watched so far and have subscribed!

Thank you for watching and the kind words! I thought that Amazon stopped selling it when I looked recently as someone else also asked for the link, but I ended up finding it from another Amazon seller. Here is the link, it's actually a 20,000mAh battery versus 10,000 that I said in the video. That's the reason it lasts so long even when I don't have it plugged in. I also liked that the nightlight on it is behind the fan so it is more ambient light than in your face light. I'll put the link here and also in the description: www.amazon.com/20000mAh-Rechargeable-Portable-Operated-Hurricane/dp/B09B29J46N/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=20000+mah+rechargeable+portable+fan&qid=1628783317&sr=8-8

Where do I find the links? I looked and looked for that fan on Amazon this afternoon. Ended up with another one, because I need one now. I would still like to have that one though. Thank You

Sorry. But the exact fan I bought isn’t for sale anymore. Here is the other one I was considering. It’s an 8 inch fan without the nightlight but still has the clamp and hook to set it up exactly like I do. 10000mAh Rechargeable Portable Fan, 8-Inch Battery Operated Clip on Fan, USB Fan, 4 Speeds, Strong Airflow, Sturdy Clamp for Personal Office Desk Golf Car Outdoor Travel Camping Tent Gym Treadmill www.amazon.com/dp/B08866RDYK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3PJ470PXNTPPX614YEEW

@@TeamLynchSpiritofAdventure that’s funny that’s the one I picked but it’s out of stock, so had to go with another. 😊

Thanks for the video. We ordered a Beyond 22RB in February and we’re still waiting for delivery. Can you show us how you typically work and eat in the van? I’m a little concerned that there isn’t a dedicated sofa or dinette like the other layouts if I wanted to work and take zooms while we’re traveling.

I usually only work from the front passenger seat turned around backwards with the front table in place. I think on the 2021 and up models the front table may be replaced with a Lagun style one. If so, even better as the other style table I have is a bit large and I need to swivel it to get in and out of my chair. I plug in the laptop in the A/C plug that is over the galley since my laptop's plug is on the right side. I hang a fan right where I show it in the video. It can get hot if you are in direct sunlight, even with the window shades. I have worked from the back as well with the table set up in the middle. Again, I think the newer RB's have a Lagun style in the back too now versus mine where I use the one table for both. The issue there is that the seats are wide so you can't use the wall as a backrest. The newer RB's come with a wedge backrest pillow but it looks more designed to be on the end of the bed and not the sides. I plan to get cushions made that will fill in the gap in the middle if I were to push the beds together. Those will be used a backrests when the beds are apart so it will be easier to use the back beds/benches as a workstation or just for friends hanging out and eating.

I am interested in the AGM version of this van and I want to find out from an owner how the AGM battery works: 1 - Is there still a high output alternator installed in the transit to charge this? 2 - How long does it take to recharge while driving? Say from half capacity? 3 - How far can you discharge those batteries? Pretty sure AGM can discharge less than 50% like lead acid.. 4 - does the van have any auto gen start capabilities to recharge the battery bank with the AGM version? 5 - are there any other major differences between that version and the li3 other than some of the obvious? Hmm with the new 12v a/c I wonder if you can have the a/c on at all with the AGMs. I am thinking not… Thanks in advance! Appreciate your winter camping info by the way. We are winter campers for sure and that’s why we are looking into the beyond predominantly.. because of the insulation. Although condensation will probably be bad with single Pane windows and only two sliding windows for side ventilation…

OMG, I’m so sorry I missed your questions. There isn’t a high output alternator behind what comes stock in the commercial van since I have a generator. From what I have seen you usually get those or dual alternators when you don’t have a generator. I can’t say how long it takes exactly to charge from half capacity. Generally speaking I’m typically topped off in about 2 hours. AGM’s are weird though since you don’t get full use of the battery capacity anyway. You never really get them depleted that far. Which is the answer to your next question. From what I understand you can only discharge down to about 60%. Yes, the van controller which is a Firefly has an auto gen start that you can set to start with the battery as a trigger or the A/C coming on. As for the A/C. I have the 12volt and no, you cannot run it on AGM. Can’t on lithium either. The max amp draw, at least on the ProAir, is 100 amps which is a bit over the max output for most lithiums.

@@TeamLynchSpiritofAdventure awesome! Very informative thank you!!! Appreciate your time and all that information. We have since been doing a lot of research and am leaning towards lithium option… but I keep going in circles because I know that ‘system’ is pretty overpriced… but I get it.. you are paying for more than just the lithium… there are all the components that work together and it’s factory installed (which something isn’t a good thing.. but I digress)… so I keep going back and forth.. with some extra work I could get lithium aftermarket for cheaper… but with some more headache.. hmmm decisions decisions… hardest part right now is we are in NS Canada and there is no one that sells these vans.. ANYWHERE 😭😭
