Hello Matthew and Penny!! First off I would like to wish Brooklyn a belated Happy Birthday!! She is growing so fast!! Secondly you need to buy a plastic reusable egg carton. They have them at Walmart or Amazon and they are cheap. They are more squarish rectangle rather than long like a normal egg carton and would take up less space in your fridge!

@@TheLeopardGirl hello Leopard girl! So things have slowed down in the testing for the Cushing's. No tumor in the brain but they might be on the endocrine glands on the kidneys. I have two cardio tests coming up in August and the first appointment with endocrinologist is on Aug 5th I believe. So the testing will resume after I meet with endocrinology. With the increase in blood pressure med or the thyroid med helps me not fall asleep an hour after I get up. So there is that!😀😀

Ummm...a slice of bread (or 1/2 slice - depending on amount of brown sugar) in with the brown sugar will soften it, usually left overnight. Best to try to keep the bread from touching the brown sugar (it gets too moist!). It always works, if I've ever had brown sugar long enough to go hard.😉

And the bread is free. Another solution is to, throw a couple marshmallows into the sealed bag or a sealed container to keep brown sugar from drying out. Or, place a few apple slices, a wedge, or even the core in with brown sugar to keep soft - for a minimum of 2 hours, but best overnight! Remove all items (marshmallows, or bread, or apple) in the morning!

That is a very effective and humorous tactic for trimming cat claws. Lol. I can't relate at all since I never trim my kitten's nails. We do provide wood and sisal for them so they can do their own thing, of course. Cats in the wild don't get their claws trimmed by humans, and they seem to do just fine utilizing the trees. I grab my kitties by the scruff (not with my mouth--lol) if I need to medicate them, and that works. We also do try to keep them brushed, but that isn't an easy task with my youngest skittish cat, and you can forget any kind of water bath. Lol. 🤦‍♀
