I bought this bag because of this review, and obviously other reviews. But, this showcased actual usage of an item. Ideas how to improve it(4zippers for lower opening option). And, something other people tend to NOT talk about. Other items, the cookset, I was very interested in I researched it and decide its likely not something I would have much use for currently. And that pencil pouch, not my cup of tea... But It made me think about using it for other bushcraft like things. Like, this is a real dude, doing real shit every day. I dont work a job anywhere near like he does. But, I can infer what I could do with this product by that FUCKING MASSIVE battery pack. If he can get all this shit in there, I can use this bag as a get around town/car broke down now im hiking a few miles to a gas station bag. VANQUEST, sponsor this guy, or something. Promote him. Or better yet. Send this dude 1 of everything you make. And doubles of the small stuff. I own a Markor 45, and Katara 16(seriously best bag ever), and now(purchased yesterday) the addax 25.

jessy61071 bro, thanks so much for such a great comment! I definitely try to show the functionality in a way that is practical. Much much appreciated man!

Rolman80 80 definitely should have show how it rides. I’ll try to add that in next time. Thanks for the feedback. 😀

Great job! You were very thororgh too. I was amazed how much you got into that pack! I have other Vanquest gear so I know that they overbuild everything. Again, great job thanks!

I was on the fence about this backpack. Thanks for the review. Pretty much a lock in now. Thanks for videos! I'm looking forward to more.

Heeeeeey! I was on the fence too and waited a long time before I ordered this pack. (Even tried out some other packs instead - like my review of the Peak Designs pack). After getting the Addax 25, I was thrilled that I got it. (I like my mods of the accent grab handle pad and the hazard 4 shoulder pads you can get on Amazon - gives it a little more bad ass look). This is my EDC pack now and nothing has come close to it. Thanks for the comment and sub!

One of the best reviews I have seen given on KZbin. Props. I was looking for an EDC backpack that works for what I carry (which is about everything besides the giant battery charger that you have). Great job!

Kyle! Thanks so much! I did a hack where I added a bottle holder externally which is my most recent vid. Hope you like the Addax!

Thanks for the review. This was in my top 3 choices, After watching your review I purchased from Vanquest. I am curious to see how the internal water bottle pockets are going to work. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Mine arrived today - it's awesome and in big part due to your review. Sure would have liked clamshell too and an external side pocket, but overall I am very happy with the bag!

Thanks for your support Daniel! I love this bag

My only minor gripe is the nylon strap material... It's soft, thin and sometimes gets twisted at the buckle, whereas beefier materials resist twisting like on a Goruck or 5.11 bag. Other than that, loving the bag!! It definitely carries more than the specs suggest.

I am still at the fence for vanquest backpack as I was purcheased a Trident 21 before which the shoulder straps too long for me which I cannot back it comfortably and somehow too tactical for daily carry. Definitely, their quality is solid and this Urban series still on my wish list. Thanks for such a detail setup and review on the this bag!
@paulsproductreviews85493 жыл бұрын
I had the trident and it’s the only bag of theirs I didn’t like, so I feel you. So if we’re anything alike (which it sounds like we are) I would absolutely try the Addax. Was initially on the fence, now am glad I have it

@@paulsproductreviews8549 love you sharing which has your own style even I seen a lot other EDC sharing. Would like to see with more real user experience but not just presenting in features! Thanks for the video!

Internal bottle holders suck. For me that is a deal breaker. I am also a little concerned about the feel of the external material. Sounds stiff. If the Jansport Odyssey came with high vis interiors I would buy that over this.

I agree that the water bottle pockets should have been on the outside

Hi Paul great review sir. I have been enjoying your reviews with Vanquest. What power bank do you use to power your laptop?
@PaulLeach1234 жыл бұрын
Hey! Got it on Amazon but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore. If you do a search for 280W power station, you’ll find similar. There are a lot of choices. Always good to have at least one for juice when you need it. Thanks for checking out my vids!

If lower front pocket could have been opened like top admin pocket, I would hava bought it.

Considering cost to manufacture isn't regularly public data, and I've seen info on neither, how exactly are you claiming it takes five times as much to manufacture? Seems pretty bogus.
@concernedpatriot.22213 жыл бұрын
That bottom external pocket in the front sucks with that zipper only going across the top of the pocket and not along the side of the pocket so that it can be completely opened so you can find stuff. I love vanquest but they really screwed up on that.

Agreed. A clamshell design would have made access a lot better

That was the Vanquest husky organizer. It’s their medium size. (The “huge” is bigger’ and the “slim” is thinner)

I am looking at buying this bag. I realize it looks fairly new in the video (I know some good things don't wear and tear as quickly) and am wondering how everything heild up a year later.
@paulsproductreviews85492 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for watching! Honestly, it’s held up great - almost like new. (But I’m not necessarily dragging it through dirt every day). The outside coating is very durable, I’ve been testing out the North Face surge recently and you can definitely feel a difference in the material - the Addax is a lot thicker. Vanquest has a 180 day return policy so if for some reason you don’t like it, you can send it back. But the Addax is definitely built to last
@memyselfandi13002 жыл бұрын
@@paulsproductreviews8549 thanks. I appreciate that. I heard the original members used to be a part of Maxpedition and left for creative differences. I have owned a few from both and the craftsmanship is much nicer with Vanquest imo. I think this will be my next bag purchase.

Baro cookware has been a cool alternative to having to boil water with a flame. Basically the idea of an FRH in an MRE but in a reusable container. I have the mug too and honestly, it so much more convenient just to use that and a couple Starbucks instant coffee packs than to get out a stove, heat water and pour into another mug
@MikeJones100_4 жыл бұрын
Yea man for me it’s the same as you said in the video sometimes I’m on a site or just out and about and don’t have access to heat my lunch up. Very cool idea I ordered one last night.

What is wrong with this bag is this: Front lower packer does not open like front uppar admin pocket. Additionally even though it is not clamshell design, it does not have water botttle sleeve.
@paulsproductreviews85492 жыл бұрын
Agreed that it would be better for the lower pocket to clamshell. Agreed on the lack of a water bottle pocket.
@richardwebb30132 жыл бұрын
Bag does not stand up on its' own. Admin top heavy compartments cause the bag to bend and bag falls over. Sent mine back. You can see the bag bending 3:45 into video. You also really need to add things to the base of the bag if you want it to be stable. Vanquest did not think this out.
@dash84653 жыл бұрын
I really like everything about it, except its a semi-ugly wide box.
