Probably the best review of this bag. For being a very new channel you do reviews like someone that’s done this for awhile. Got a sub from me.

I added a Hydra water bottle to the outside of mine by running a strap around the outside (through the grab handles on the back) and attaching the Hydra to it. (There's a quick vid of it I uploaded a couple days ago on my other channel). Honestly, been a game changer for me and put the Addax back as my every day bag

That is the one issue with these, I so want to use this, but the lack of external water bottle pocket seems a big issue in today’s world.

I wish the front pocket clamshell opened. I feel like I'd get more use out of it that way. Or just make it a drop pocket without any organization. But let's be honest I'm nitpicking a 9/10 bag.

First off, loved the review, Thanks! Like many, I have all kinds of bags, so I'm downsizing to about 3, and I want another bag so, I'm looking for something that's airline compliant and I'm certain this one is. I learned a long time ago to travel as light as possible, yet bring the essentials, again, I think this bag fits that criteria. I too love the zippered compartments and ability to add more as needed. At first, I thought 25 liters would be too small, but thinking it over, I think it might be the right fit for travel abroad. It's really not an issue because I have a few other bags that are larger and airline compliant. My only thoughts are why Vanquest didn't make one in a 29-34 liter capacity, but I guess it's ok because they know what they're doing. I have other Vanquest products so I know they overbuild everything and their staff came from their other competitors (lol) so I also know their engineering is top-shelf. I spoke with their staff on the phone too and the guys are cool and know what they are doing. Anyway, you did really good and I'll likely get the "25" unless they make a larger one soon. I do travel light and I'm trying to imagine a small shave bag, first aid kit, and 3+ days of clothes. When I travel, I generally bring REI clothing plus whatever I'm wearing when I travel. I was in the Navy so I know how to squeeze stuff into every square inch! lol

Hey man, just wanted to get on here and show some appreciation. I was looking for a new EDC backpack because my Nomatic backpack was starting to show its age, and I watched probably upwards of 50 videos of reviews and roundups and then stumbled across this. I just wanted to say thanks for making this video. I knew almost instantly that this was the bag for me. I listed you as the “who sent you” when I made an account and again when I ordered it. I appreciate you and love your no-BS one take review style. Thanks again man.

Thanks for the review. I was just about to lock in an Evergoods CHZ26 then came across this bag. Just when I thought I’d decided hahaha. I’ve watched a few videos now and I love what this bag has to offer. I’m just concerned about the ventilation on the back padding. Summer’s almos here and I suffer from super sweaty back. I also wanted to add that I agree with you on the outside water bottle pocket. Plenty of other makers have pockets that’re stretchy and disappear on the side of the bag when not in use. Would’ve been nice to have. So, think you can help me out deciding? Lol I’d mainly use it for EDC/work (13” laptop carry with minimal accessories)/ dad bag.

Ok. Not going to lie - the back of this bag is NOT as good as Evergoods. They have one of the best harness systems and back padding in the entire industry. I prefer the vanquest bag though - it’s cheaper, its more fun, and I love the admin section. I also like the more boxy rectangle form factor of the addax…and that it sits up on its own without being propped. You won’t be sad with either bag though…both are excellent.

Really enjoyed the review, just wondering if the base will wear badly? And if it would have been better with a robust base cover? And are there any hacks for that? Rhino liner for backpacks?
@ThePerfectBag Жыл бұрын
Wow - I've never thought of self-applying a base....but I can say that I've been using this bag a LOT for years now and haven't seen any issues with the base wearing. But I'm not tossing it around outdoors on rocks either....I use it as a daily carry bag in my day to day life.
@damianmcneely7884 Жыл бұрын
@@ThePerfectBag it's going to be a daily carry and a travel pack for me so while it won't be bashed against rocks, it'll get some urban abuse...maybe I should mention this to the Rhino guys...business opportunity? 😆

Used to love vanquest more so I own slot of them but I have three total failures with these bags first of alk I bought the trident 32 it lasted a little over z year then one by one the zippers alk failed including the main zipper lots if loose threads btw so I had to stop using it then I bought an awesome bag the ones 35 from vanquest and it lasted a little longer but I had to stop using it to because the main zippers on the bag cut right through the 500D cities the zippers are vine but they are slot tougher that the circuit on the bag and also the zippers have out on the too pockets I have photos to prove it in short I no longer trust 509D corners in back packs 1000 D is much more durable the weight difference isn't that much it does make it that much lighter or heavier and you would have a bag that lasts five years in stead of 18 months. That's over $600.00 in back pack that I can't even use I also have a rd red edcm huge 2.0 that has a failed zipper so I can't use that either.

Man I think I wanna get this, it's an awesome pack. Who makes the hook and loop thing you put in with the three pockets? That's what I've been looking for in a bag. Didn't know they make those panels really.
@@ThePerfectBag awesome. I looked the bag up and it's got a price tag. Do you think the quality is worth it? I don't mind if it is. Oh and thank you! The video is great I'm gonna sub. You literally covered it top to bottom.
