I purchased the 4L Tekko to compare to my Large Dendrite, and see which would remain my EDC sling bag, and I have chosen the Tekko. The Dendrite strap allowed for more "cinching" to have the bag feel tighter against my torso, vs the Tekko seems to get tight enough to have it carry in my lower back area. The Tekko is more comfortable to keep on my body while driving, because when it's slung to my fron in the car the bag seems to just rest on my lap over the seat belt. The Dendrite I would usually remove it from body while driving because if it was on my body whie driving, it would always slide towards my right armpit area, and impede the arm w/using the steering wheel. I found the Dendrite was deeper on the bottom panel, but it is shorter than the Tekko, and the height in the Tekko has some advantage. I can use strips of "hook" material to attach items to the higher points of the "loop" fields. This ability seems to make the Tekko feel less stuffed. My Tekko and Dendrite have been used for EDC & "micro get home bag" contents. I always like having items on me for some shelter/water/fire preparedness, but I keep wanting to upsize to a bag that can hold a metal container, poncho/tarp, good size fixed blade. If I do upsize to a bag, I would love to hear recommendations. I have an 11L Maxpedition Malaga that has filled a larger bag role, but I think it's too big to carry every day, and it definitely screams tactical. Thanks for sharing.

@@bills.2214 Thanks for watching! I definitely enjoyed using the TEKKO, very versatile. The Dendrite is next on my list for review. Still getting acquainted with it. For upsizing to a bag, take a look at GORUCK. Love their bags. I’ve got a GORUCK Bullet Ruck that lives in my truck as a get home bag. Wintertime I’ll load up some cold weather gear in one of their Kit Bags and keep that in the truck as well.

TORN BETWEEN MALAGA AND 6L TEKKO. ANY THOUGHTS?
@bills.2214Ай бұрын
@@BOOSTEDLASER I have the Malaga, don't have the 6L Tekko. Malaga is 11L, nice organization with a larger main pocket. I keep a 40oz water bottle in that compartment, and that is less than half of the main pocket capacity (roughly speaking).

Great review!! I'm looking for a new sling for travel and I think either one will work. I'm more of a minimalist, so the Tekko 4 would probably be the one. I really wanted the Packolab sling, but with the problems in the Ukraine where it's made, plus the long wait, even to order is making me think that I should think about another bag. Thanks again for the in depth review.

Thanks for watching! The TEKKO is a great sling. Packolab sling is amazing, but hard to get ahold of and pricey.

Carryable definitely a word… I think 😂. With that front pocket zipper placed in the middle under the loop field, did it feel awkward getting stuff in and out?
@Pack_roam2 ай бұрын
I just double checked, it’s a word 🤣. I used the front pocket as a dump for keys, AirPods, etc. No issues getting in and out of it for me. It’s got some volume to it, so it opens out a bit. I had some top-down POV footage of me accessing that pocket on the go but it didn’t make the cut. Had the Go cam on the brim of my hat and 2/3 of the frame was my beard 🤦♂️😂

SO NICE.SHAME NOT 1000D.FOR THE PRICE IT SHOULD BE.FALL APART? ANY ISSUES? ZIPPERS?
@Pack_roamАй бұрын
Definitely a nice sling. I don’t think durability is going to be an issue with the 400D UrbanBlend material. Plus, construction is solid. This thing isn’t going to fall apart. All zippers are YKK, the best zippers out there. The main external zippers are coated for weather resistance.
