The whole show was awesome. Seeing Gerry and son rip river waves with awesome ass boards that they shaped is fucking epic. A fucking wizard of oz under the bridge making waves , I mean dude what the fuck. That is just mind boggling. But one of my favorite parts was the older guy with the old repurposed reshaped wind surfboard was prolly my favorite part. Fucking awesome show

I live and surf in socal, reminds me of the time I sold a board to a guy who lives in New Mexico, guess there's a few guys there who river surf the Colorado/New Mexico rivers. Personally doesn't look like it would be my thing but as long as you're having fun who gives a shit what I or anyone else thinks

woah. I'm 12 and I learned how to bodyboard in a year and a half because I got stuck in Thailand. I live in China but due to covid I got stuck here in Thailand. Every year when I didn't know how body board I would come to bend and go down the river with the floaties. My grandma lives in Prineville. Now that I know how to bodyboard I really want to do this! I'm just curious on where u go after you fall in the wave lol

7:09 who says there's no duck diving in river surfing? on another note, someone needs to invent a surfer retrieval type system, at these more regulated sites. maybe a "zip line" cable from bank to bank, then a waist harness with attached tether?? something's gotta be less of a hassle than getting pushed way down stream every time.
