@@Saber-vf6rh I agree with you in part. I don't smoke. Haven't for years. I managed to quit smoking thanks to vape alternatives sourced via legitimate suppliers/shops. My money was ultimately going to vape product manufacturers, not big tobacco or pharma. I paid sales tax on those purchases. All of the above were choices made by me, an adult. Apparently a misinformed or corrupt (possibly both) government could not tolerate that.

That’s really good - how did you even smoke 40 a day though? I used to smoke and on some bad days I’d smoke 15 in a day but I’d wake up with a sore croaky throat the next day 😂

I’m Australian, and I vape. Firstly I import vape liquid from the US, with nicotine without any issues from customs. Secondly I did go to my doctor for prescription nicotine and the doctor refused to supply me with one, practice policy on the matter apparently. Lastly vaping stop me smoking many years ago, my lungs and general fitness are now on par with a non smoker. Under age people will always find ways get a hold of drugs, booze or cigarettes unfortunately.

The government has lost the plot completely. Banning vapes for adults, for the sake of children?! I don’t even like the flavoured ones though, only terpene flavour CBD/CBG/etc. but this is deranged. The children are being harmed with glyphosate spraying everywhere and phthalates and atrazine (turns male frogs female) but this is their priority. I was born in a communist dictatorship and the UK democracy is on par! UK just dropped very low on the ranking of ‘perception of corruption’, coincidentally. And did you know the UK is the biggest exporter of medical cannabis but people here can’t access any, except privately and it comes from other countries, it’s absurd. Bureaucracy is going to be the end of us, along with corruption and just plain weaponised incompetence.

The strongest lobby to ban vapes is the Tabacco and cigarette companies. They don't have a very large or profitable portion of the vape market, so yes, the big tobacco lobby is throwing 700 times more money at baning vapes than the vape industry could afford. 😮

Vaping since i was 18. Im 26 now and it was super easy for me to stop. All it took was for me to say nah and save some money. Its been 5 months since my last vape. Going to buy one tomorrow though. Im just slowing down BIG time with it. Not quitting. I do feel better not having that disgusting vape sludge in the back of my throat, but im allowing myself to have 1 bar after this big break. I feel like i can vape responsibly. Just like with the cigarettes. 1 pack of cigarettes will last me months.

Not quite sure what’s going on with the comments here. You can still get a vape if you need one as an adult whose already addicted to nicotine and wants to get of cigarettes. The idea here is to stop making it appealing to children and breaking a new generation of nicotine fiends. It’s also good for the planet to not have spineless children dropping these big hunks of plastic all over the spot. Cigarettes are not as appealing to children cause I mean they’re just fowl so that’s why they’re still sold to adults who need them.

I've just stopped (4wks)smoking roll up cigs with a vape but. As you cut down your nicotine you find the shop doesn't stock 0% in the flavour (Tobacco) you've chosen to quit nicotine on. in fact they don't stock very many 0% vape liquids at all. Blackcurrant sir. WTF. Also nicotine salt liquid is fast acting, much more like a real cig hit. Regular liquid is delayed so you puff on it more before you feel it. Meet a women who never smoked but got addicted to vapes 2yrs ago during the Chinese flu outbreak.

If you're Australian, you're buying from the wrong shops. Go to an actual vape store. They ONLY sell 0% juice as that is all that is legal to sell here. Not a tobacconist, not a milk bar or corner store. A proper vape shop.

There is a freedom of choice act, quite common across all western countries, google it. State's you should be able to choose a variety of things including consumption. The reason tobacco wasn't banned was due to this act. However, banning vaping is in breach of that law, technically Australia just broke the law, I wonder what loop hole BS they used to get it through, this could possibly be challenged in supreme court by someone with enough money and power to do so.

They say they don’t know how vapes effect health just like they did with cigarettes for decades. I remember on tv commercials back in the day they used to say your cool if you smoke such & such brand & you used to be aloud to smoke cigarettes inside restaurants & in the movie theatres & even on airplanes & this wasn’t really that long ago I’m only 30 years old.
