Thank you for a very helpful tutorial. I'm confused by the enthalpy chart used. The one I use and others I compare to, I get much higher Enthalpy values at these conditions. H1 = 250kJ/kg, H2 = 400kJ/kg and H3 = 430kJ/kg

Thank you for your observation! Please note that enthalpy charts (and tables) available from different organizations may have used different reference datum. The charts, I have used, are based on 100 kJ/kg at 0 C for saturated liquid as a datum. You may find other charts available with a datum reference as 200 kJ/kg at 0 C. You can check these numbers by reading the enthalpy value at 0 C for the saturated liquid state. The different datum values do not influence our calculations because we are always determining the difference between two enthalpy values; and the chosen datum does not impact the difference (only the absolute enthalpy value at that temperature may be different depending upon the chart one uses).
