He was devastated when Cc and Elizabeth died, and so it made him lose his mine, and then he came up with an idea that he could do remnant to bring them back from the dead! At least, that's what I've been analyzing in several music videos and the lore, and yes, he was devastated. Look it up in the Wikipedia for William Afton

In version B, Springtrap avoids the knife, saves his hand, drowns Henry and wins, but in version A, Springtrap does not have time to dodge, Henry cuts off his hand and falls into the water and Henry wins.

Is it Henry? The prologue appeared to suggest the main character was a detective which would likely make him Larson, not Henry. Plus the fact he’s looking into the Freddy case which we know Larson is likely doing.
