To be fair, the HTF art style is sorta kids themed. It reminds me of a hybrid mixture of Camp Lazlo, My Little Pony, and Amazing World of Gumball.

@@beazrich2.017 Yeah, but the better question is who DIDN'T know Happy Tree Friends would be shockingly bloody and gory. Plenty of comedies around the time were just as if not more violent. Then there's anime. There's also video games. Y'know Mortal Kombat and all that jazz. People and kids these days are quite literally too babied up so seeing their reaction to this is even more comical. xD

Lumpy (His stupidity alone, and examples where a snapping turtle is chasing him at 2 miles an hour and Lumpy decides to eat a sandwich and after he finishes it he forgets that he’s being chased and gasps). Cro-Marmot (How is he able to do anything when he’s frozen lol). Disco Bear (I hate him but the one episode where he killed Giggles and Petunia and Disco Bear thought they were dancing lol). Nutty (Who has jellybean coffee, soda as mouth wash, a lollipop as a toothbrush, and sugar as toothpaste? lol)
