Helpful hint: When you see a sign in the Backrooms written in childlike penmanship that says "Don't Move Stay Still," don't listen. It's a trap written by the creature itself as a way to lure people so it doesn't have to chase you.

@@ronnato162 That is possible. The creatures behave very differently. Technically, there could actually be THREE of them. In the first found footage film when Kane accidentally falls into the Backrooms, one creature stalks him but doesn't attack. It can clearly be seen peeping around the corner, and later lurking in the shadows. Then Kane sees the writing on the wall and this is when perhaps a second creature attacks, chasing him, roaring and screaming the whole time. Then later after Kane returns to the yellow area it's possible that yet another creature throws the chair and stalks him into that dead end. It too doesn't behave like the one who chased him relentlessly. People keep asking what the creature is. Well that question was touched on in the second video where the three ASYNC guys find Kane's dead body sitting on the floor covered in black mold or fungus. The creatures could be either living fungus or giant one cell organisms like Hydras, Amoeba, Paramecium, or Euglena. Although I think it looks more like a mutated Hydra. On Earth, these creatures attack other creatures, feed on them and spawn babies. They also need a moist environment, and there is much lore written about Backrooms Level 0, (the yellow maze), and how the carpet is always moist. This could also explain why the creature didn't jump down the hole after him and follow. That sub-level was simply too dry.

6:39 No he's still in the Backrooms, there's several different layers to it and they're all completely different in appearance Also the concept of The Backrooms isn't new, it's an internet urban legend/creepypasta that's been around for years and there's loads of other videos and games that have been made based on it by other people

He noclipped through the floor is what happened and he's not alone in this seemingly never ending rooms of The Backrooms. It's basically a place outside of reality where if you're not careful enough, you might clip through the floor and end up here and get stuck in these moisty yellow carpet that is The Backrooms. In Kane's version, he mixed this creepypasta that's been here for years, (I think this internet urban legend is almost a decade old) and he did a great job at mixing it up and making it into it's own thing for him to create. Basically the backrooms is a place outside of reality and to get there you have to no-cllip kinda like a video game when you fall out of a map. There's no telling where you land. Once you're in the odds of escape are little to none and you might as well call it your new home with multiple levels up to 1000 some more dangerous than the last some harder to escape or survive than others. ways to get in and out of each level such as going through a door, running into a wall, jumping into a hole etc the possibilities are endless
