Mam jesa k ham kehte hai k boiling point k lie vapour pressure of liquid is equal to atmospheric pressure.. but agar hamara system open hoga to pir kese vapour pressure achieve hoga? Vapour pressure to close system Mai achieve hota hai.. pls answer it
@DigitalKemistry4 жыл бұрын
*Good question .yes ,off course , vapour pressure can achieve easily in a closed container .In an open container ,the vapours can escape and equilibrium will not be reached but if we achieve the equilibrium then its possible.Hopefully ,you will get the point .Regards*

@DigitalKemistry5 жыл бұрын
Dear Chandrakanta, pure metals are crystalline solids, but unlike ionic compounds every point in the crystal lattice is occupied by anidentical atom.The electron in the outermost shell of metal atoms are mobile and capable of drifting from on metal aton to another(delocalized electrons) Metals conduct electricity and heat due to free flowing electrons.As the electron enter one end of the piece of metal,an equal number of electrons flow outward from the other end. when the light is shone on the surface of metal,the electron absorb small amount of energy and become excited into one of its empty orbitals.the electron immediately fall back down to the lower energy leveland emit light. this process is resposible for high luster of metal. metals are malleable and ductile .They can be hammered into shapes because the free moving electrons can easily slip.
