Thank you so.much for your videos. I have been to Cuba 10 times and I absolutely love it. I have always wondered about Kwama. I know it is the oldest hotel in Varadero. After watching your videos I think I may give it a try

I mention in the video that I paid for an extra checked bag of 50 pounds. There is a fridge and small freezer compartment in the room. My group had 4 rooms and fridges. I like to cook and not spend all day in the sun so I prepared a few of our meals for a little fine dining in Cuba

Who do you fly with to club kwama? I cant see it with sunwing?

Saturdays from Toronto or Sundays from Montreal with Holasun. You will see it on selloffvacations.com if you put in Varadero for those days

Sunwing has dropped 26 resorts in Cuba, and this is one of them. I think they dropped certain resorts that were getting a lot of customer complaints, etc.

@@tee6394 They still offer resorts I know to be inferior so I'm not convinced that is their purpose. Kawama is wholly Cuban owned and I wonder if the travel agencies are making an initial move to devalue the resort in the hope of getting the government to sell an interest in the resort.

Some of the electrical outlets don't have a ground prong and not being sure where I would be plugging it in I cut off the ground before leaving Canada. I grew up with no ground on my plugs in Canada.
