Well that was 14 minutes that I will never get back as this was nothing more than a glorified "infomercial" for both companies. Let me save you time -- the result is "a tie" . . . and while both are terrific makers of wood stains and finishes, including polyurethanes, there could have been a more scientific approach to the testing of these products.

The text was nearly the same as a different review site printed, and I wonder how many such "reviews" are now being generated with AI engines. Home Depot product reviews can range widely, but at least look to be from actual customers. I wonder also about water-based products that have been frozen or otherwise broken down, given the descriptions often don't line up with the product info.
