Criminally overlooked band, still sounds so good. Them and Praying Mantis shouldve been big. That first live album is a rock classic.

Aussie Vardis fan from back when 100 mph was released - I still have my original L.P. Not many people in Oz knew about Vardis except us NWOBHM fanatics reading import fanzines & mags. Fantastic band...cheers!

Along with RIOT. I couldn't agree more. Would of been epic to see these two bands on the same tour in their prime.⛧🤘

Did these play at the "heavy metal holocaust" gig at Port Vale football ground in 1981 along with Triumph, Frank Marino, Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne and Motorhead or have I imagined it ?
@tedmac8049 Жыл бұрын
They sure did. Riot played, not the Quiet variety. Ozzy with R Rhoads was brill, Motorhead top of the game~

@@tedmac8049the old bill had a report of an old fella that couldn’t hear his telly 5 miles away when Motörhead were on .and they blew the substation in burslem with the power of the PA and lighting rigs.😂😂😂 them were the days .

@@craigpimlott204 is right, for all sound nerds out there, the PA System was the biggest assembled @ that time. An Audiolease Martin bin rig comprised of bass bins, horns, tweeters and phillishave mids~ Y'er all welcome~
