I found it easier to hug the wall by the center, that way you avoid the "dash" special. Also you can true tile indicate the axes, hence axeskip. I posted vid on my channel, GL

Claws are probably BiS for a spec weapon, because you want to nuke him in the last phase ASAP. Killing him quickly at the end avoids more damage than the rest of the fight combined.

I've found that: 1. Making sure you are on slash before starting. Worst is stab. 2. BGS it helps abit 3. Camping one tile below the south-easten most pillar (i.e. diagonally opposite the entrance/exit) helps to avoid the floor and most axes. This means all you need to care is: eating, flicking prayer when the thing shoots its range attack, and the virus thingy. Once you do these 3 actions, this boss is much easier than SOTF, but more annoying than Muspah.

He has pretty low def already so dwh isnt worth, maybe even a dds is better dps. Bgs prob best tho. My tip for this boss is just to focus on the arena. The boss isnt really a threat, just the environment. All the dmg he can do to you if pitiful if you dodge axes and pray the projectile, even eating a spike is less dmg taken than taking an axe hit or head projectile. Suffering ring is so good for the chip dmg

Saddest thing is since I’ve completed it I can’t get 1 kc against any boss it’s to punishing for the small mistakes and mobile u can’t recover it’s as simple as that duke is even difficult I don’t understand but everytime I attack him instead of him doing the chip damage and protect from melee working he’s going to mage and doesn’t switch back
