Varg - Thymesia Boss OST

Something I find interesting about Varg's theme; Phase one is in 7/8 time signature, giving it that lilting rhythm. Perhaps it's to portray the fight as a very confident duel of skill, or to suggest the unhinged fierceness/loyalty of Varg? However, phase two has the more commonly used 4/4 time signature. As if to say, "No more playing around!"

Best ost. I was astonished with the game itself then the osts hit me even harder. I like all osts but varg's ost shifting from relaxed rhythmic to aggresive always makes me shiver. Those choirs in phase 1 are just perfection

I’ve recently got into the souls games and Thymesia is the first game I’ve played, this OST for the boss fight goes so hard!

If he was given another three or four moves in phase two he could be a very difficult opponent in my opinion Urd was the most difficult for me until I learned her attacks
