Personally, seeing Bruce in this state gives and odd yet refreshing feel to the series and to Batman, as a character, himself. He's literally on the ropes, odds stacked against him, broke and alone with no one to help and yet he still manages to push through. It's what he's fighting for that really makes him THE Batman.

I'm reserve on my theory on DC's Future State. Some people will Like it, Love it, or Hate it. But in the long run it's my belief that it's going to be DC's version of Marvel's mid 90's Age of Apocalypse. Everything holding true and only a select few remembering what happened after the timeline is set back straight. For right now. I will say I'm on the fence with Future State and unsure if I'm liking it. To be continued.....

I really enjoyed this mini series. How Bruce Wayne met with Chase the new Batman. And how Peace keeper fought with Bruce Wayne the real Batman. Maybe Bruce Wayne and Chase will team up to take down peace keeper and Chase will give the mantle back to Bruce Wayne, but Wayne will be like "it's not Batman that makes you worth wild it's the other way around never tell yourself anything different." Then he gives the Batman mantle to Chase one and for all.
