Varicocele surgery for Infertility
काफी बार जिन patients को Azoospermia का निदान होता है उनको Varicocele surgery करने कहा जाता है। Varicocele surgery करने के लिए यह एक indication होता है की गर sperm count थोडासा कमजोर है (जिसे oligospermia कहा जाता है ) पर उन sperms की motility अच्छी है और वो भी Varicocele grade 3 या grade 4 है तब जाके शायद Varicocoele surgery करने से फायदा हो सकता है। Azoospermia में zero sperm count होता है और azoospermia के दो मुख्य प्रकार रहते है। एक तो obstructive azoospermia और दूसरा non-obstructive azoospermia | दोनों में Varicocele surgery करने से कुछ फायदा नहीं है।

थोड़े लोगो में देखा गया है की azoospermia patient जिसपे Micro-TESA किया जाता है। अगर वो करने से पहले Varicocoele surgery करे तो शायद थोड़े पेशेंट्स को इसका लाभ मिल सकता है पर यह भी लाभ Micro-Tesa कएने के बाद ही मिलता है। Azoospermia में Varicocele surgery करने से शायद sperm retrieval की संभावनाएं कम हो। इसीलिए अगर किसी भी patient को azoospermia है और इसके इलाज के लिए Varicocele surgery करने की सलाह दी हो आप जरूर डॉक्टर से 2nd opinion ले जो fertility expert हो या azoospermia के cases handle करता हो |
